Thankyou. After long time I am able to use my canon printer 2900b with my MacBookPro (macOS Monterey). I tried similar stuff with other patch drivers earlier but didn’t work. It’s working now Alhamdulillah.
Also, I tried the same with my brother’s M1 (macOS Sonoma 14) - as it’s pretty new software I wasn’t sure whether it will work as it gave the warning of old version before installing - but Alhamdulillah it worked with Sonoma too. [adding it here as this may help someone to try out]

I set it up completely according to the tutorial in the video, and I have successfully added the printer in the system preferences, but when printing, the printing still cannot be completed, and a warning box pops up ~ this printer cannot be used.
