This was originally just going to be a double feature video for Blacephalon and Stakataka, but I managed to also find a Xerneas on the side SUPER fast while hunting Statataka. Really love these shinies! Now that I have the entire postgame playable on both Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, expect some gauntlets.

Blacephalon looks like something you'd find in Gen 5, yet I love it. I love my weird rainbow clown son.
I am going to take this as a good omen, Because me and my brother were playing through Ultra sun and moon at basically the same rate, and we got to where you get blacephalon/stakataka, and we decided to shiny hunt them. long story short, I got Blacephalon, and my brother still hasn't gotten Stakataka, however, in the meantime I shiny hunted Xerneas on Ultra Sun and got it. So with this strange coincidence of mirrored shinies, I feel quite good about my brother's odds of snagging Shiny Stakataka.

No thanks, it's rather satisfying to see the regular process of SRs. Then again, I've also started a shiny hunt for shiny Stakataka.
I enjoy it, too! It's kind of relaxing to watch someone else hunt while hunting. I just figured I'd include that timestamp just in case since it was a little bit longer amount of soft resets than I usually include in my videos. Also, best of luck with that. Hope you find it soon! Dude with that Lonely natured Stakataka, if you fully invest in Attack it will be higher than its Defense, so you can Beast Boost Attack! Spam Gyro Ball dude xD Super cool especially because I didn't see a Synchronizer for it! Awesome video, I quite liked the intro :D

I don't keep a track of my number of resets as I hunt whilst watching TV and I just find it easier but currently hunting Stakataka at full odds, taking me so long!

Beautiful xerneas. I just got mine a month ago. When i first played ultra sun like what? 3 years ago? I shiny hunted both blacephalons full odds. I recently came back for the rest of the charm. I’m going for the wormhole beasts and poipole now.

how do you softreset with the 3ds like this? i usually do R+L+start+select. is there another way? i always have to take it into my hand an dput down the second 3ds which makes it kind of annoying
I put a rubber band around L and R on my 3ds so I only have to press start. Just make sure you remove the rubber band when you encounter the shiny!!!
DUUUUUDE I literally just got shiny Blacephalon while watching this!!! 150 encounters with the Shiny Charm (1200 if I count the SR encounters before I got the Charm)...and Timid Sync worked! I'm so syked! 😁😁😁

Watching this video, just set up my 3 systems for my sr for shiny starter Oshawott in b+w and I get it on the first reset after... Haha this is insane. 5601 resets total. Must be the Absol luck!

How did you have 5 rainbow beans before you fed him and 5 rainbow beans still after you fed him? Is that an ultra beast thing I haven’t made it that far in the game

PLEASE HELP ME! I have no idea why people soft reset for blacephalon. You can just encounter it again. When I was looking for a riolu in that area I just ran from all the blacephalon and they still kept spawning. I also found a shiny 1 and failed it cause I didn’t have beast balls

I got a Xerneas and it's antlers were blue and for a second I thought I had gotten a shiny
Nintendo made a "I'm tired and don't feel like having the multi-colored antlers" form just so people would think for a second that they got a shiny after catching it XD

I got stakataka but not Blacephalon. haven't tried Blacephalon yet but will at some point. got the stakataka after finding a random shiny buneary (stakataka took like 3k+ and buneary took like 2k)
Xerneas was like my shiny null when I got it just under 30 SRS
You can shiny hunt them after 2 like after rainbow rocket.

I'm currently hunting Celesteela, aka, my favourite UB next to Poipole.
I got a shiny Xerneas and accidentally soft reset over them (what happens way to much to me I really need to be more careful) but I ended up getting one with a Modest nature what’s pretty good, never gonna use it competitive but if I wanted too I could also I caught them in a DiveBall so they’re PokéBall matches them.
Motivated after watching this video. Are you coming back for the other ultra beasts too?
Got Nihilego and Pheromosa in my shiny gauntlet, guzzlord in my US trial quest, and I just gotta get Buzzwole, Xurkitree, Kartana, and Poipole. Maybe someday!!

Due to this video I remembered the type null encounter right before this, and wondered if it could be shiny hunted. Welp, 8,000 encounters and almost a full year later I can tell you that type null is shiny huntable and advise against it. Also 2,000 encounters into blaceph and still going.

It took me 16 encounters to find shiny Xerneas

I netted Heatran,Blacephalon and Rayquazza.
I got my shiny stakataka after between 5-7 random encounters. I wasn't even looking for the shiny at the time as I wanted to get the shiny charm first, I had my calm synchronise natu with me as well so when it suddenly appeared I just stared in disbelief for a bit. First two times I encountered it I just defeated it so I could progress further into the island, the third time I gave up because it's typing made false swipe difficult and I wanted to come up with a better plan and once or twice after when I was going through the area. The next time I forgot my calm synchronise natu so I had to run and go back to my pc for it and then the next time it was shiny! Had calm nature too which was super dope
edit: my mistake, it was impish. The calm one was my shiny lugia (that took a day and a half)
