I compare the 2020 version to the original with there being 1 noticeable difference. I enjoy Dior Homme 2020 as well. Very masculine, woody and elegant fragrance that can be worn anywhere whatever the weather or occasion.

I also have a similar problem with DHI. It lasts around 5 hours on skin but it lasts days on clothes.
I sprayed the curtains in my bedroom like 20 days ago stil get some random whiffs sometimes...

Yeah. I can kinda relate. Although depending on the weather I can sometimes smell it really close to my skin until the next day, but I have to know what I am smelling for.

Bought a decant, fell in love with the scent but it turned a skin scent after 30 mins of applying it, and it lasts about 4 hours. Shame
I recently picked this up from FragranceNet. It lasts about 10 hours on my skin. Even the next morning I get wafts of it, and it’s a 2022 batch. The Parfum is out of reach in the U.S.
Hellow, do you get a cocoa notes? Cocoa mean chocolate maybe?
@@amaterasublack3519 I don’t detect any cocoa notes in the breakdown. Mostly the Iris on the opening throughout the wear of it, and the Vetiver in the base notes. It still has the lipstick smell that’s in the original formulation though - you can’t go wrong with this one IMHO 👍
@amaterasublack3519 i have DHI 2020, and I'd say that yes, it's a bit chocolaty. Not heavy, but if you compare it to Dior Homme Original, then yes, you could describe it as somewhat cocoa-ish. I've never smelled the OG release of DHI, but pretty much everyone says the 2020 remix is much less chocolaty.
IMHO, if you can get your nose on Valentino Uomo Intense, it smells VERY similar to DHI 2020. Only that it's a bit more 'orangey '. I own both bottles, If you can find one or the other, you're set. The essentially do the exact. same. thing.
I can easilly smell it the next day, maybe a bad batch. On clothes it lasts for days.

Interesting. Did you read the comment section of DHI 2011 on Fragrantica? There is some info in there on formula codes. I am testing my 2021 bottle now, which has the 2017 formula code 10950/A. You should have the same code. One spray on my wrist, and I am in the 5th hour now, and I can still smell it easily.

I tried this a few days ago sample and was shocked how little it lasted on my arms with 2 sprays maybe not even 3/4 hours i could not smell it at all it put me off from buying but lovely scent of course
True longevity is short but it's a very beautiful scent.i thinks it's that kind of intimate fragrance that does not overpower the opposite
I noticed the same on mine i just got..3 hours sadly and its gone..i had seen so many reviews sayin amazing 10 hrs plus perfomance, how dissapointing
Is it okay to layer this fragrance with Eccentric Molecule 01 to make it last longer?
I’ve personally not tried but I reckon it would quite possibly enhance the wearing experience

I recently picked this up from Bulgaria Notino 80 evro 100ml. It lasts about 8+ hours on my skin. Even the next morning I get wafts of it, and it’s a 3C01 batch

This don't last no 8hrs.. it smells great but last only 2hrs
was that some special sale, cause 100 ml on Notino bulgaria today is 110 euro without shipping
I have zero issues with my recent two DHI bottles. Probably an hour max in performance difference with my vintage bottle, which is absolutely normal having in mind the latter macerated in the bottle for years.
Have no idea where you live, but if you're using it in the summer heat of course it won't perform well... or your skin is dry as a mf...
I loved it so much when I got it I went through 50ml in less than a month. Really regret not buying the 150ml
2020 batch and 2022 batch here. Having zero issues w/ performance. 8+ hours on me with 5 sprays, if anything my newer bottle smells closer to the OG (not as woody, a bit sweeter/powdery) but we’re talking extremely subtle differences. My gf smells it heavily on me within 4-5 feet away for 4-5 hours after I spray. If I spray on my hand I can smell it for 9-10 hours on skin. With Dior I never have a problem with performance/consistency like others occasionally seem to have.
Do you smell the coco powder or something chocolaty?
@@TheWowChannel1234 I do, but it’s more of a supporting note and you don’t feel it much until the dry down. Blends amazingly well with the iris after a while though. My impression is it’s dominated by the cedar early on. Cacao is more apparent in Dior homme original, but is much lighter overall in comparison to DHI.
And foes the newer batch last pretty long and hows the newers batch projection ? I would like to buy it for everyday use but ive heard bad things about the performance
@@TheWowChannel1234 it’s a banger. I would not worry about it. People worry way too much about longevity (it might not be a nuke like the OG was) but this is a good projector and performer. You and everyone else should be more concerned about if you like the scent or not. If you want to choke people out with it just spray more. If you’re that concerned about it just decant it in travel bottles.
My 2020 DHI performance very well on my skin lasts about 8hrs with 4hrs of really good projection. Reason why I bought 3 more bottles

I've had the same experience with this one also. Funny thing is people shit on D&G The One EDP's performance but I get eight hours with that one.
Weird i got 12 plus hours wis this perfume actualy this and armani adg profumo are best performers on my skin and i have some heavy hitters like mancera cedratboise its weak on me 6 hours black orchid that one lasts on me 4 hours on a summer i really hope it will last longer on cold and im really disappointed with there Hermes edt prada lhome prada carbon those all last on me max 5 hours

Just get DHI yesterday. 2022 batch, formula code 10950/A. Unfortunately, it has the same performance problem. Smell amazing tho.

Is it the 2022 150 ML UK Batch??? Mine has it and it really performs terrible,all I get is a maximum of 6 hours at best (if I overspray like 6 times it gets somewhere between 5 to 7 hours while with only three sprays I do get 4 to 5 hours).I really adore it since it has such a unique and captivating smell (and that is the reason I am still wearing it despite the rubbish performance) but yeah it is not as good as it used to be back in the days.
@Pantelis Yes it is UK batch but in 100ml. Over spray might be the only way to solve it right now...
I recently got the 2020 version and it lasts days on clothes but not to much on the skin.Has there been any significant performance change from the time you posted this comment? I've read that many people had this problem but over time it starts to increase in projection and performance due to maceration process.

Yes i agree with you, had many bottles of this and loved it, the last bottle i bought was in 2020 and i wore it a few times, but hardly wear it now, as the performance is rubbish in comparison to the older bottles, another great fragrance has been ruined..! Have about 1/4 bottle left of the parfum which is great, but will be very difficult to get a replacement once that is gone, as very difficult to find the parfum....
Totally agree with that however this fragrance is way more sexy than D&G the one and still way better performance. I've read from a few people that letting it macerate for some time will increase the performance for the 2020 batches.

Probably you go nose blind or its a matter of skin chemistry. The New bottles of DHI last just as long as the older ones. It's not the loudest fragrance but that's because its an elegant scent that is supposed to be discovered and not presented loudly

Then check the packaging (wrap and lettering/color).If the plastic wrap is not uniform and it seems to be done poorly then it is fake.The authentic Intenses have the letters at the front of the box that are totally black and pressed,that inform you about the concentration and type of the perfume.If your box has any white lettering only at the front where the name is (not to be confused with the bottom)then it is sign of a copy.Also almost all dior homme intense wrappings outside of the box have a big horizontal wrap line,located axactly at the right side of the box.Fake ones tend to have this line put on the left side which is a definite indicator.Also check the engraving at the bottom of the bottle.If you try scratching it and the paint comes off very easily (if any at all) then you definitely know you got a fake dior homme intense fragrance😂😢
