Great tips, I've only used the regular green pads on my Daytona's pipes but they never were a high-shine finish. I found it easier to take the pipes off rather than trying to get in all the crevices with it on the bike (but it's a 3-into1 so it's a bit trickier).
I can get creative with these but couple spots are hard to get. Overall pretty easy. Need to remove skid plate though if you want to do the whole set-up.
The color comes back due to how hot each part gets, they have a chart of the colors on the net, the blue is at 320 degrees I think, I wish my whole system got blue that would be cool, more WOT me thinks...lol
You can get the scotch bright pads at any autobody supply store.
Thanks man dropped my mf gloves on a hot day on a hot bike right on that pipe like fucl sakes
Harpic Power Plus 10x works wonders for cleaning exhaust pipes too 👍
Not good for the parts you are putting that crap on, bad advice.
They look like new. Great tip for these rainy days.
Thanks Minnow.
Very helpful! My Duluth pants melted and left a ton of brunt fabric. Thank you sir!
Cool, this stuff works great for taking that off.
Great tips buddy. My pipes are scorched but I kind like it.
The color comes back after a couple rides.

Thanks for the great tip. Time to get my exhausting looking good again.
Glad it was helpful
Awesome work! I need to do this on my Kawasaki once the season is over!
It’s a winter project and it really made a huge difference.
Dude! You always know the best tips and tricks. Now I'm just waiting on Jack and/or Bob to make a pipe polishing joke....
Exactly. I’m sure it will come soon by those two.
Great tips and tricks. Pipes look awesome. Ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Thanks Rick.
What can I use to clean and polish my exhausts pipes and the muffle on my 2023 1250GS?
Great tips. Turned out great. Be well! 🤘
Thank you my friend.
Man, this looks really great. When are you off next to visit me and do mine? I really like how shinny those pipes are. Thanks for the tips. Ride Safe
I’m on my way.

*Helpful tips a tricks...... Big thumbs up friend 👍👍 Stay connected friend 🤝❤️*
Thank you DIY

Could you show what happened after some time of riding? I think this method damages the coating of pipes. Thank you
It turns blue again. I’ve done it a couple times and pipes aren’t looking damaged. Lasts for about 3-4 months depending on how much you ride.
I need to find that polish here. That stuff works! Thanks for the tip.
That stuff is gold.
Hmmm, I’ll have to get some of those white pads.
They work great. Got a big pack of them and then cut them to size.

The blue does look cool.
Very nice! But oh hell no!!! Polishing is one the reason I traded for ADV. LOL. Great tip though..
I do it twice a year, mainly to get all the scuffs off. I’ve only washed the whole bike 2-3 times. Looks better with dirt.
The bike is liquid-cooled but it still gets hot tho.
The heat on the right does get up there for sure.
😎👍
Can I bring you my Husky's pipe and a six-pack? 😁
Absolutely. Beer is the best currency.
