    Great intro for Mike . A1 cycles is the shit. Dude help me find parts that he didn’t even have for sale. Really standup guy and I’m a fan of his work.

      Still loving the risers. Huge difference.

    One little comment. I put the same risers on my bike last weekend and one thing I found helpful was not to torque down the main riser bolts before putting the bars on. Just leave them a little loose - then if you install the bars and tighten the top clamps a little it will pull the risers parallel with each other - so no need to try and make sure they are not skewed with respect to each other. Then fully torque the bottom bolts to lock that into place and finally torque the top clamps.
    Great risers - and really make a big difference to comfort for me.

    I went with 6" up 2" back. Really really neccessary for more technical terrain. Also better for highway.

  • @MCCJustMotos
    @MCCJustMotos 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I put Rox 2" risers on. Same kinda up and back idea. My quick take is they are absolutely more comfortable, but you loose on-road front tire feel, and quite a bit of off-road front tire feel. Many considering this won't understand the tradeoff that this mod does. To me the risers are worth it as it got rid of a kink in my neck, but I have to be real and honest about the minuses and plusses. Thanks for the clear installation video. Cheers!

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just took these these off-road and I did feel a little less feel, but not terrible by any means. Odd, as I didn’t get that same feeling on-road but you have a great point. Comfort wise, these made a huge difference on a 300 mile plus session. Appreciate the valued feedback.

      @@Broncoride Well to be fair, I only notice less road feel at 7/10th and above lol..but again worth it to me. Again, great video!

      I went with the Rox risers too, they have a bit more adjustability to them, made it a much comfortable ride, especially the long ones. I'm looking at the Corbin seat in the near future, I've had those on a couple of other bikes, they turn a a 3 hour bike into a 9 hour one! LOL!

    Well explained. I just think that it's not ideal to build parts for a metric bike using imperial fasteners, particularly for handlebar clamps where riders may want to adjust their handlebars up slightly for those longer off-roading days - that's another spanner to have to take with you.

    Thanks for the video… I’ve got a PanAm and was considering the same upgrade. Question- how did you clean up the Harley powdercoat? By moving to the 1/4” narrower risers, I’m afraid my bike with 3k miles will show some of the same wear. Be nice if the A1’s were identical width.

    • @Broncoride
      @Broncoride  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven’t done anything yet Eric, but looking Into it. Friend of mine used a marker for gun barrels and said it was super close to matching. To do it right, you need to take the entire bar off and redo coat. I’m trying to find a simpler solution.
