A little fun fact: the reason why you were seeing so many carcasses was for one of two reasons.... 1) it was regaining it's strength by taking the soul and blood of the animals after chasing you so long... or 2) you were close to it's den and those were it's past meals. Btw i really love this series and i'm always on my toes waiting for the next episode to come out lolz
the music is also generally associated with the wendigos, because it is so eerie and stuff, it will make your brain want to go investigate where the music is coming from, it's just another way that wendigos will try to lure you out to unalive you.

Also might I suggest that you get a pair of leather boots so you don't have to worry about the powdered snow? It might offer a form of escape if you make a pit of it!

the modder for the wendigo should add a mechanic that if you eat rotten flesh for so long, you start to turn into a wendigo yourself. But you aren't given any effects, just weird stuff starts happening to you the longer you play and still continue to eat rotten flesh.

Be careful who's request you take seriously, Shadow. Some of these people just want to speedrun how fast they can kill someone's MC series. I don't think anyone who ACTUALLY cares about your series is bothered about how much time you spend in your house. Which doesn't make sense, because mobs spawn in there too, so what's the problem? 🤷🏽♀️

Hey shadow hope you’re having a good day thanks for this amazing series. As the more mods you add the game is getting super hard.. so I think maybe try and add where if you complete a dungeon, a quest or some sort of boss you could acquire another heart.. if you can’t do that, maybe try and decrease the spawn rate of all of the creatures less in the morning. So it’s harder to expect the mobs so when they do show up in the morning it will be more scary and less like you expected it.. or if you can add a boss at a certain coordinate and if you go there and fight and kill it you can get a prize (a heart or a cool weapon, armour piece, or something else… if you read this I love your vids and thanks for this amazing series.

Never been so tense watching you being chased by the wendigo, I was in the edge of my seat mentally and verbally yelling (low volume) "Just keep running man!" I really loving today's episode, you manage to survive till to finale.

I've discovered that chicken farms are effective for getting food and feathers when working with the insanity mod. The chickens dying in the farm doesn't affect your sanity in any way and I haven't noticed any change in Herobrine's aggression towards me. Great video by the way, and sorry if you already knew this.
Fantastic video as always! There were some super tense moments as well as some humourous ones. I loved the turn around to watch the wolves attack the skeleton, humour dropped fast lol I actually didn't know wolves actually did that. I love the animation shift you did for the Wendigo, it really did add to the horror! I love your works and commentary, I'm excited to see you get back to your base and get to building, though! This villager trading post has been in the works for a bit, I hope it gets to see the light of day. Don't forget about the non-wood roof.

Two episodes were the most terrifying, The one when Goatman appeared, and this one of The Wendigo! My heart was jumping each minute maybe! I just realized that the insanity mod is basically Don't Starve mechanics.
The whole thing about your sanity draining when you stay in the dark for too long and eventually seeing hallucinations that will start to attack and kill you once it runs all the way down is one to one with Don't Starve.

О, здарова. Кстати, советую у него, Forge Labs(а) глянуть ещё рождественскую линейку подобных роликов, если ещё не смотрели. Также круто и атмосферно, ток там они сразу вчетвером выживают и с некоторыми дополнениями вроде температуры(не помню, правда, в какой серии её подключили), жажды и тд. Хорошего просмотра)

Find a dark oak forest and harvest wood with tnt.
One tnt between 3 or more trees with one air block between each branch. Easily gets you 64 and change from one blast.

You know what would be amusing if you got one of those mods for taming mobs and with all the difficulty your having with the dwellers the players force you to tame a Dweller in one of these. Would be interesting to see you try to figure out how to do that.
Also I think you seriously need some golems around your home. Or try to maybe do something to extra fortify your home though.

I think part of the really low sanity should be the player dropping the items it's holding and also walk a few blocks in a random direction.

Hey Shadow! The hot bar issue is a key that you can change in the mod key binds. It's caused by quark, and is referred to in the key binds as the Hotbar swapper, the set key for that is z but you could always deactivate to make it less bothersome for you!

Can anyone explain to me the use of the monster POV? Ive seen it twice now, here and in the Silence vid. Is it a part of the associated mod, or is it due to editing on the part of the poster?
Also, am i the only one that saw the new wendigo like 2 blocks away from our shadowy man at the very beginning when running away from that other thing in the water, and him not notice? or did i imagine it lol

If you are still having problems with monsters i your home, most likely is because you have a lot of dark/not lit areas. Solution would be: Look the optimal distribution of torches for no dark-areas. Or replace ALL the floor with slabs, making sure you place the half slab at the low/bottom area of a block. If you place a block over a slab, and it connects, monsters can spawn on that surface. If the block adobe would hover, then you placed the slab correctly.
PS: LOVE THE WENDIGO! any chance you can design/make a proper werewolf too? ;P
