One thing I've enjoyed doing is an SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape) scenario with no HUD but a compass on extreme difficulty. Load up a helo or a plane with some buddies but only give yourselves pilot uniforms and handguns. You can also get rid of all of your grenades and equipment etc as well as never use drones. Set an objective or two your team has to complete (like knock out this radar station or clear an airport etc) before you can escape the islands. Bail out of the aircraft at altitude and parachute to the ground without paying attention to where you or the others land. You have to link up with your team and scrounge for gear off different enemies. Fighting your way to the objectives on a Motherland world you haven't touched is amazing. Just the feeling of being massively underequipped and constantly hunted. If you go down you're out with no revives but can respawn to spectate the survivors with drones etc. Can also mute yourself so only the survivors can hear one another. Can be really good fun.
Im finished the Wildlands a few days ago, and now im started the break point in immersive mode, and I love it. I don't know why a lot of people hate break point, it's a great game 🔥
Because the game was nothing like how it is now at launch. They should have had all of this available from day 1 and not had to basically change the entire game.
I use one primary and a side arm, the primary is usually a DMR. I love to create my own realism in the game. While considering what my carry weight would be, say, if I carry three weapons with all the ammo, grenades etc the weight I would be carrying would be to much. Plus as a female player I take into consideration my body frame, I think this would add to Fatigue, higher risk of injury and slower , shorter running speed and distance. So for me one primary and a side arm with the ammo, is enough to deal with . Great video.
I know, the game gives you too much ammo which in real life is one if not the most hindering when it comes to carry weight.... i like how wildlands gave you a choice to carry 100 rounds.
I find myself coming back to this game with a different mindset. To be immersed in the beauty of the game, instead of just getting through the objectives. I'm going to instill this realism into my gameplay as well.
I guess I don't have enough time to commit to gaming to get this good. I turn GR Bp every so often, mainly in the Maine winters here (and it's the only game I've had for a few years) and binge a couple hours a day for about 2 - 5 weeks at a time. I don't get myself to the level where I'm even decent ghost/stealth ready. I feel like I'm on the verge of leveling up some of the aforementioned difficulties but, that's when I turn it off for 10 months to a year. I love it for what I get out of it and when I get at it, though
I did about 65 hrs of extreme, no hud, no gear level... about 1/2 the time with AI teammates. Finished the main story and Sam F dlc. About a month ago I started a new play through and playing it on hard with gear level, but never with teammates... about 40 hrs in... I’m getting all the collectibles and trying all the guns, side missions. I think I actually prefer the later. I am enjoying a lot of the features and gear I never used going no hud. I also feel the loot grind gives you something to keep getting excited for. I do find it funny watching no hud TH-cam guys using the echelon ability to see all the enemies. To each their own :)
I think the 2 weapons thing is interesting topic people get really uptight about but it does make sense. There are two reasons i think its popular the first being a more personal one to me and others going for the mil sim experience (i am not a mil sim player) but that experience was I was in the army. I know that you are not going to be able to go up mountains through crazy terrain and carry an AR and Shotgun, or Sniper and AR, or SMG and Sniper. The ammo, the weapons themselves would be exhausting to carry not to mention the rest of your gear. The second and I think more universal reason is a gameplay one. By selecting 1 weapon you are commiting to a playstyle. This has a major impact on how you approach things. This makes every base even more challenging but also more rewarding to beat because you solved the puzzle of stealth within your kit. Its where creativity comes in, and those holy shit moments that keep gameplay fun. You know how they say if you give everyone a blank canvas anyone can put stuff on there. The real creatives make things when they have limitations in front of them. Its that concept but in a gameplay choice. So if you are a sniper for example, you need to think about where you are, how dangerous is room clearing, what are you fall back points, secondary locations etc. Because guess what, you can't just wipe out an smg and gun down a bunch enemies at close range having best of both worlds.
I’ve actually been considering running an Ode to Army of Two loadout with a buddy. Dress my characters in the heaviest gear and bling out our weapons and just completely siege any camp we roll through in the classic back to back standoff. If you ever played the army of two game i think you’d understand. I feel like breakpoint is the closest we’ll ever come to another proper army of two game
Army of two was a love letter to the fps community who has those buddies we been playing shooters with all our gaming life and your right I haven't had this much fun since aot and grbp captured the freedom of using teamwork to win over everything
Got the game after immersive mode was introduced. Started on normal with most HUD on, finished the game and DLCs then got inspired by certain TH-camrs to crank up the difficulty to extreme/elite settings, use one primary, and lose all or most of the HUD and it was like playing a different game. Nearly 1,000 hours in game now and I still play extreme/no HUD mostly, but do have one save with gear score on and everything on easy settings with full HUD where I roleplay as a super-soldier :D
@@BulletCatcherGaming yeah it seems to be the evolution of a lot of long term players. I certainly couldn't go back playing that way again, it's way too easy 😅
As a game I’ve never loved and hated so much in all my life, I try to take every weakness and turn it into a strength. When a laser-sight isn’t zeroed-in, I use the crosshair on the HUD. When I don’t want the compass on-screen all the time, I turn it off and use the binocs/drone. When I wanna snipe and don’t know my range to a target, I use the binocs/drone to put a beacon (not a tag and not a sync shot) onto the target (for accuracy), read the range when target is stationary, then use the binocs ONLY to find a spot of the terrain of the same distance, put a beacon on it, and then use it as target practice for a few shots. I use the drone to go all the way out to the beacon and look for where the bullet holes are. Then I rotate back to my target without having moved from my position, with the bullet-drop accounted-for and drop the target. Taught myself how to be my own spotter, but it’s even more accurate than having a spotter co-op the shot, because the Beacons are most-accurate from your own, exact location. It does irritate me, when interacting with the world and finding that tiny window of context to press a button to untie a prisoner or get intel get so often confused-with picking-up a weapon or opening a car-door, so as much as I hate it, I leave the context buttons on. It’s one-of the most annoying things in the game that unfortunately never got the attention it needed to get adjusted. Long-story is that I still use elements of the hud, because the game wasn’t designed to fully-accommodate HUD-less gameplay. It’s still a 7/10 for me, after all the alpha/beta/survey/update/survey/beta progression. But the devs really did try to make some fans happy, after the big boss called-for production cuts and get the game fixed, courtesy of the fans fully-justified frustrations of a broken live-service release at a premium price. Truly great video and conversation. Cheers.
On the Two-Primary weapons discussion: I find that restricting myself to 1 primary weapon shoehorns me in to Assault rifles. Because they can do a bit of everything. Whereas two primaries allow me to tage a DMR + Shotgun. Which I think is not all that unrealistic. And also just a lot of fun.
I was fresh out of playing a FUCK ton of Wildlands back when I picked up Breakpoint, so I started the game out with no HUD on extreme, health regen off, gear score off, and all that jazz, because I was already used to it. The controls were very similar and easy to figure out by just pressing buttons for a minute while staring at the ground :) I do however like to throw on a variation of HUD for when I do cross-com role play. Also like you said I turn on compass in co-op so I can give callouts n shit when I play with people. I know this video was about what is the right way to play Breakpoint and asking people how they play and stuff, but I can't help myself and say this now that I already answered about my playstyle above-> the "right way" to play Ghost Recon is gone from the series as it currently stands. Gone are the true GR gameplay features and mechanics that were a staple in the series. Hoping for Ubisoft to one day give us a GR game that encapsulates Wildlands and Breakpoint, but brings back those older GR gameplay features. too.
hi bud, good shout here i think most people who started with wildlands jumped to no hud on breakpoint much faster than those with no wildlands experience.
I just started playing Breakpoint recently and I'm really digging it, even more than Wildlands. I'm playing with the gear score turned OFF of course. I do use the HUD, but I also have custom difficulty set up as well. I have it so risk of injury is often, auto-healing only heals 1 segment instead of the entire health bar, regular stamina consumption, the regular amount of Azrael and chopper patrols, and I play with AI teammates. I really love how customizable the difficulty settings are, I can enjoy having a grounded and "realistic" experience with some light survival elements, without having to make it a 100% hardcore run
As an IDFSF veteran, the most logical way to carry out compound raids or hostage rescue for example is the “divide and conquer” method, get the enemy confused and in complete disarray by forcing them to get most of their attention to a completely unrelevent direction and then swipe em’ off in the shortest amount of time possible. This will give you the precious seconds of the element of surprise, when they abandon their pre-set template of defense they go totally unorganized, and that’s exactly when you hit them.
I have two active characters, one has all the hid elements enabled and it is on the easy setting so I can relax. The other has all the hud settings off and is set on the hardest difficulty. You know, because the pain and suffering of life isn’t quite enough for me so I have to experience it in a video game as well.
That's genius, so on one hand you get to be a badass equiped with the best the US military can come up with and on the other hand youre truly a elite warrior trapped in enemy territory fighting a uphill battle
@@McKillahGuerilla Exactly! And the way I play differs greatly. On my easy character, I run to the objective and complete it since there is little to no challenge. On my hard character, I have to stop often to check for patrols before I even get to my objective, especially the wolves patrol. I get genuinely nervous when I spot them. It is a whole other experience than with my easy character.
When is the road map coming out ? The weapon that I really really want is the XM8 Assault Rifle and would be awesome if we can get a Ghost Recon 2 legacy roadmap . The main stuff we all need customize our enemies clothing and fix immersive mode have a way to switch weapons in your inventory and add more default camos for our clothing .
I think what they did with motherland as far as content and region lieutenants was very well done. 1.I would like a stronger civilian population presence. 2.Make clearing rooms a little more trigger careful. 3.Smoke grenades 4 denser vegetation all over. 5. Damage and gun sound rework. Pistols shouldn’t do more then ASR’s 6. Way heavier troop presence 7.more guns- way more. This should be easy to do. 8. More accurate camo. 9.lasers, sights, and attachments should be interchangeable regardless of gun. 10. Better flight mechanics. Bonus- make the in-game gas masks compatible with all gas grenades and gas areas.
@@BulletCatcherGaming did they stop working on the game tho?, i pray that they still work on it i mean cmon this is a masterpiece of a game no reason to stop on it haha
Great video as usual. I wish sometimes Breakpoint had the tier difficulty system from Wildlands. That was the right way to play for a lot of us during Wildlands days.
I actually haven't played Wildlands in a long time, and I heard such bad reviews about breakpoint that I opted out of buying it. But I recently picked it up on sale, and I have to say I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm a fan of the in depth customization when it comes to creating what experience you want. Going in, I knew that the game leaned heavily on stealth and being tactical. So I decided to go with the full ghost experience. Honestly it's the best way to play the game.
My favorite way to play the game is that I turn off some of the HUD and I play on advanced and for me it’s an enjoyable way to play the game. I love the content keep up the good work :)
Only way to play wrong, is if you're not enjoying playing the game. I love watching these tryp of gameplays, I don't go this hard-core tactical, but damn it I love to see it.
would like to see more enemy NPC's hidden in buildings so we have to do more slow and planned out stealthy game play to be able to get to the intel in a building instead of just running easily through a building with hardly any resistance also we are all on an island filled with scientists developing new tech, so I would like to see our ghosts continue to get more tech like a grenade that when it explodes it sends our an energy attack like a large pulsewave blast that extends out 15 meters I would also like to have the drone EMP ability brought back. I would also like to see the ability to fight from the water I want the ability to fire my weapon in the water and also be able to swim up to a dock and pull an enemy NPC into the water and kill him also would be nice to see enemy boat patrols that we could engage I would also like the see specialty weapons like the ones you get from golem island to be hidden in remote locations around the main island so it would be really worth going exploring and have those weapons hidden on mountain sides or in caves or small farms or my a lake side or in a deep bog in the jungle for those players who are only interested in single player game play
@@BulletCatcherGaming yeah, I haven't raided since the 1st year of the game, and you should also somehow be able to get 300 gear without raiding. I'm currently changing my playstyle, just haven't figured out just what all I want/don't want. Also, at my age, with vision issues and slowed down reflexes, I prefer to have full HUD.
Ay bud for that playstyle you mentioned near the end about taking 4 guys and holding it out at a rooftop or a tunnel etc, you mind giving a list of bases I could try that on? As for my preferred playstyle, I like to stealth clear all the snipers out and steal the big cargo helicopter and just let my friends blaze it on the miniguns while I fly around the base. Not really effective but it’s very cinematic. Also regarding 2 primary weapons, I think it’s valid to have 2 weapons if you’re using a MGL, or if you’re doing like a SWAT breacher loadout where you got an extra shotgun
well to be honest bud you can try it on any you want, we have been experimenting with lots. problem is if you land on a building thats on the perimeter of a base its easier because you don't have to worry about the flank. if you choose a middle building of any base and land on the roof especially a base that has multiple verticality points around you its a real tough challenge
Never played BP. Here's what I do in Wildlands: - Turn off markers - Keep the minimap on (no markers or blots) so I don't have to constantly check where I'm going. - Lost my char in Ghost Mode due to falling through the map so normal campaign with self imposed permadeath - To compensate for the extra weapon, I turn off the AI team (when I want to use them, I don't use my secondary weapon) - Only level up, change guns and enable AI team in friendly camps - Advanced difficulty is what I enjoy most, but sometimes I do go extreme when I want to harvest some points (still haven't unlocked everything)
Seems to have turned into a really great game with a lot of options for play style, which most games dont have. Might have to get stuck back into this. One thing i always think these games could benefit from is a 10 minute replay free camera option. Replay some of those massive gun fights from a drone perspective free cam.
Coming from playing division i kinda enjoyed the gear level system, was like a massive woodland version of a division game. But my second play was more traditional milsim setup, having played original GR games back in the day, which was also great fun.
Most of the time I play it on the hardest settings, maximum realism & absolutely no sci-fi shit (no drones,no detection grenades, invisibility spray etc.)... BUT I keep the crosshair on. When my character is aiming in third person he's actually looking down his scope so it only makes sense to have the crosshair on to be more precise with your shots. I wish I had the possibility to team up with other 3 same minded people to play it together. Love your vids. Keep it up
I wish they made it so your clothing, camoflage, and armor actually effected gameplay. IE if you where a ghillie suit and hide in the bushes , then the enemy will have a harder time detecting you or if you wear a vest that covers most of your torso then you have more protection but you're slower
The one thing I like about gear score is it gives you incentive to explore. Otherwise getting new weapons becomes basically useless. I go back and forth but gear score does just add another level of interaction
I’m somewhere in the middle ground, I like to keep my HUD on just because I feel as though it’s not much of a distraction as it doesn’t get in the way of what I’m seeing whilst simultaneously having the difficulty cranked up to Extreme (sometimes Advanced) and tactical settings being relatively realistic. Stealth is still a decent challenge (especially at huge bases) but not frustratingly difficult Edit: forgot to add some of the things I personally like to do so here it is: 1. Using semi-auto only (the only time I go full auto is to take out drones or heavy enemies that’s it) 2. Realistic looking loadout(s) (outfit, guns, attachments, etc.), really weird but to me it just feels right to do it this way. 3. Only 1 primary weapon, I only need one 2 for me is just unnecessary. 4. No using Rations, I find them to be useless anyways. If my character is going to eat he’s eating at camp My conclusion: personally I like to label my play-style as “casual immersion” not unrealistic but not overboard with the realism, a good balance whilst providing challenge
I just stumbled across your channel and I have to say that I absolutely positively love it!!!! I shall listen to your channel tonight as I am off to dreamland... Thank you kind sir for your service.......
I start with the drone. I use it to sync shot snipers first. Then I enter into the area, ideally via torch cutter. I prefer killing two enemies at a time because most of their patrols are of 2 or 3. I often utilize my knife as well. If shit hits the fan, I move into a building and hold it.
I’m lost I don’t know how to find the main story mission, I brought this game on day one release & put it down for the exact same reason, I’ve recently picked it back up but can’t figure it out as there’s far to much going on for me, I’m lost 🤷🏻♂️
I know I'm late to the party but I started the Ghost Recon saga with Wildlands and now I'm playing Breakpoint, I'm a casual player, hud on full and everything activated, last night I decided to turn everything off and it's a different experience but to do stealth it's A little stressful since I don't have a headset but I really think that people play however they want. There are people who tend to get angry with casual players, it's a matter of looking for partners who like that hardcore style of play. My older brother plays casually and I activate the hud for that and when I go to my game, I continue playing without the hud, I don't play it extremely, I play it advanced.
The right way to play is the way you want to play. Yeah there are certain elements that will never change but the way you go about it is your choice and yours alone. I love the ghost recon series and do I think they need to fix a lot, yes. Do I think they have done a lot of good, yes. Some people want a realistic shooter and others want an arcade like, then there are those in between that want both. To me going forward I think there should be the choice. To me future soldier was the perfect mix. I won’t go into detail but options should always be there, and people should be able to choose and find there own way to play and have fun. Love your channel man sorry I’m having to catch up on your videos. Keep up the good work.
i just started about 2 weeks ago and from what I've heard im glad i waited so long to get into it because of all the bugs they fixed and things they added. im a die hard Splinter Cell fan and this (in immersive mode) has been the closest thing I've personally got to it in years. i really like it
I first tried breakpoint in beta and quickly decided that unlike other CR games, it wasn't for me... Until I ran into a tuber with no hud and going all the way ghost. The reason I checked up the game in youtube long after the release was because it was free for PS+ users. I'm still having an absolute blast with the game occationally. Would propably have even more fun if I could team up with other players.
Even though I just started playing Tom Clancy's ghost recon breakpoint I've always played tactical shooters with a tactical way of thinking and acting tactically (My mentality in tactical shooters is to get the job done efficiently cleanly effective while without leaving a trace or witnesses) After all if they can't see you they can't kill you
This whole video points out, by attempting to describe the typical GR player, how lost the identity of the game is. You haven't mentioned the world parameters (or I missed it) Drones or not is a game changer. This sums up the pros and the cons of Breakpoint. It tries its best to appeal to everyone so much that no one can play together really and the only thing you end up to have in common is to play the same title, but your own way. Is it worth it ? IDK, yet it is what it is. No one is really happy with the game. We are here because there is nothing alike in the market either. That's what saving the franchise so far, according to me. The upcoming "Frontline" players will be more simple to identify. I won't be one of them to begin with.
I'm happy with it. Can't name a single Ghost Recon that's better. The truth is that they can't be honest with the consumer and tell them that the only reasons why the game exists these days is because "simulation" doesn't pay, and players will cry about RPG options on every next installment.
Leave the drones on and quit being a scrub? What? You get a drone but can’t handle enemies having drones? I’m quite happy with the current state of the game. It’s better than wildlands.
Hi I wanted thank you for the vid I found it interesting to hear from a Vet who's played this game for a year or more. I on the other hand just picked it up the other day, although I heard about it years ago I was once bitten twice shy about buying another Ubi game after the Division Fiasco OMG wasn't that ghastly ? Anyway I digress I've played a lot of shooters and I remember playing Wildlands. That said before I made the plunge to get this one I watched tons of you TH-cam guys & Gals to see what it was all about and if it was worth now jumping into the GRB pool. I must say you all play better then I do....LOL or maybe the video are the culmination of hundreds of hours cut together to make one seamless video IDK. My point is having come from a shooter background and with tons of shooter exp in my belt I tried setting up the game like Rossman said he had his setting on in one of his vids. I jumped right in taking his advice and skipping EASY as according to him that easy was for video game journalist. I then decided that having the exp I do I should also skip Regular and move straight to Advance just like Rossman, full immersive no HUD with little health regin, solo no squad. I figured after all a video gun is a video gun right ? Well NO ! The guns in woodlands and in other games I've played never acted the way these do, these seem to have so much more kick and are harder to control. This has lead to me dying many more times then I'm use to. Likewise the Enemy AI has gotten a lot smarter since WildLands I was finding myself getting spotted so much easier just moving at a normal pace crouched down of course but still... DAMN ! I have had to back off my Zealous approach and rethink the way I''m going to play this game for NOW. I have changed a lot of Rossmans setting to more of a blend of his and mine., to give me at least a little learning curve. I'm now playing on EASY still on immersive with no HUD and I've changed the health region a little and I keep extra ammo when changing clips I also turned off those DAMN Drones ! OMG they're still there at bases which is a huge pain in the Arse ! Anyway I guess how one plays this game is entirely up to them I think Ubi has done a good job of giving people enough options so they can sett it up just about how anyone would want. Now I don't play PVP so I can't speak much to that but it would seem to me that Ubi should put in a filter on they're online servers and matched players based on game settings thus if your a player who plays with every option turned on then you'll NEVER get into a match with players who have those setting turned off. So I'm stepping down off the ole soap box now and will let others take the floor, I would say if any of you vets have any tips you like to pass on I sure could use them as I'm Damn tried of getting my ass handed to me on each mission.
well i must say i really enjoyed this read. its great to get such good feedback from newer players. you should jump on our discord. you can reduce drone presence in the world modifier settings that might help you also helicopter patrols. its weird actually because i was playing wildlands the other day and it seemed easier to get spotted on that game than breakpoint, what platform do you play on?
I have a lore theory I use when I ever play this game or wildlands with the hud, and it’s the crosscom glasses/goggles. My head cannon is what the ghosts use are a more advanced prototype version than what gets used in advanced warfighter and the other titles. Lore wise it fits even if you think about the night vision and thermal too.
This is true! I am a new player (tho I played wildlands), when I started to play the game I turned the assist mode on or anything that will help me navigate the game. Then when I got used to it, I started to make the gameplay a little bit harder.
I just recently finished Wildlands on extreme difficulty and having a blast on Breakpoint…i play on hardest difficulty and without gear level this game is insane…dunno why people said this game sucks i like it better than Wildlands beside Bolivias atmosphere there is nothing better in Wildlands than in this game…having a blast right now
I've followed the same path as long term players i guess, with the difference i'm really bad^^. Elite difficulty, Almost no hud (i keep compas, and ammo), 1 primary weapon. Most of the time it's a dmr, but sometimes i replace for an smg. After a long break, i'm discovering motherland and i enjoy it.
I honestly can't with the gatekeeping snobbery. If you play with people who are still playing the assisted settings, gear scores and all, then show them how your way of playing can be more fun. Don't moan and tell them to git gud like a wanker. Love your idea of trying to survive the whole base attacking your team!
I like to max the difficulty, limit it to one primary weapon, limit my bandages, increase injury chance, turn off enemy drones and other things to make the game harder, but I usually only attack larger bases at night when I can get in and out without alerting anybody. I try to limit engagements as much as possible.
I must be an odd one out lol from day one i started with everything cranked to extreme and most of the HUD was off. Not all of it though. Interesting to see how most players seem to have started with everything on, tiered loot(which i hate), and i didnt even know there was a minimap til a few days ago because i've never seen it xD
From what I can see other do and from what I do myself, I think lots of people play the ghost recon games as sort of a milsim-lite. Not full Arma, but some quasi-realistic stuff and an open world to run around in.
Great video and i play with the gear score off and play in immersive mode because gear score smacks of the division too much for me i also have it so i can only change my weapons at bivouacs darkest night is on stamina consumption is extreme as is risk of injury enemy difficulty is normal because i died too often on hard and i admit I’m not a brilliant player and i do turn the hud off occasionally but a great video as always 👍😊
Nice video brotha. This is a great idea and informative. I like the No HUD but the “EXTREME STEALTH” just isn’t realistic or challenging. I’ll take a gunfight on extreme difficulty over stealth any day
I never use suppressors for that reason! I love baiting enemies with my loud shots. Just keep on the move! Wish the ai was smarter though. They forget you’re in the base way too often
One of my favorite ways to take out a base is to grab a vehicle(preferably with a minigun mounted) and however many teammates you want to use. Then, drive that vehicle into the base until you get stuck or the vehicle is put out of commission. Then you jump out of the vehicle and do your best to take out the remaining enemy without getting killed. My main weapon is the ACR Assault. I also carry the Desert Eagle | Survival. Supressed HDG. I do carry a TAC50 | Brown, but rarely use it in my "Hot Raid" scenarios. It's a "Right tool for the job" kinda thing for me. These types of raids are alot fun, I think, and will definitely test your meddle.
I dont use Gear Score i only use it when i am grinding Money for a Blueprint weapon or whatever and raids since Raids can only be done with Gearscore on
I keep enemy clouds and the spotting meter off. I basically turn off anything that makes me feel omniscient. No spidey senses on extreme is all I need to make it good. The rest I keep on. I’m a ghost, not a standard run of the mill soldier.
I started and still am on normal mode. I use gear score and Hudson plus drone and ai teammates but I'm to the point I'm not leaning on my ai and drones as mutch
I try to avoid fast travel as much as possible. And I like to clear bases when moving between quest marks. Super fun! Settings on hard. With squad. But no squad is also great, but a lot more challenging.
Sometimes I feel like a full squad makes the game too easy, you can clear out bases without even lifting a finger if you give them their abilities and sniper rifles. I tend to just run one or two teammates with basic assault rifles so I have someone watching my back and get an extra chance or two should I mess up and go down.
Solo player. The middle ground I use between immersive and guided is turn off all the main hud. (except Crosshair on dynamic, and Communication Marker on dynamic as well. 3d loot markers on dynamic and light as well,I'll explain later) Leave the minimap full [except turn off loot icons in the minimap. The minimap gets too cluttered with it on and it's hard to spot enemies on it. This is why we left 3d loot Markers on (I turn off interaction shader), having it off is also optional if you don't care about weapon attachments or SC.] This setup almost feels like rdr2 default hud. Which was one of the best imo. The minimap bears the weight of all the hud leaving the main screen clean. Enemy difficulty Advanced, but you can go higher or lower. Got the most fun out of the game with this. Not too easy not to hard. And I don't get completely lost as I do with no hud. Edit: also also, default image calibration(everything at 50) made the game look washed out on my console+samsung tv setup. I change Contrast 64, Gamma 34. Brightness 50. Just toy around with the values during ingame daytime and what works for you. Hope this helps.
I'm new to the game, I've done some missions already but i have the gear skills off, i like looting and stuff, but if i change to gear skill on now , will i lose everything i picked up so far ? like skill points and items and so forth? I'm not a die hard, leveling up player but as i mentioned,i do like looting, but even though i prefer the gear skill off mode, but then what's the point searching every area collecting things ? I'm stuck, i don't know which way to go
I'm new to this again! I had it a few years ago and couldn't get into it! Would it be better to follow campaign or just free for all and go anywhere!!! Now I'm single and no bloody kids I'd like to get back into it! Obviously there's a campaign and side missions but does it have to be done in a particular order?
If I'm playing with the AI I go BALLS OUT , but otherwise if I get a good team esp. Snipers ...nothing but stealth. As GMozart said they should have a vest progress set up
the best thing in breakpoint is the pvp. the pve honestly gets old somewhat fast, the feel of guns etc are great but the open world design doesnt put you in a lot of good and enjoyable gunfights and there are not many enjoyable bases for stealth gameplay either. pvp is where the game can benefit from what a great gun feel it have. thats what everyone should at least try out. the pvp is great.
Growing up in the teams I play different than a lot of people. I use the mini map because in real life you would have ISR telling you where enemy’s are. I use 2 weapons sometimes but I will only do that if I’m carrying an MGL or breaching shotgun. You have to use your imagination a lot in this game which I don’t mind. In the beginning I will even start by myself and go “rescue” my teammates and activate them one by one as I rescue or find them.
you keep saying "you can play the game however you want too cause you bought it". then you make us feel like shit for playing on an easier setting....... 😂😂😂
Long story short: play how you enjoy it, it's a game. If its with two rifles and health regen that's fine. Not everyone enjoys playing immersive on extreme and tactical with limited or no hud like some people, me included. I played wildlands on ghost mode on hardcore with no hud. And I started a walk through of breakpoint in the exact same fashion on my channel.
Got the game and all the DLCs about a month ago when it’s on sale, as a beginner I think the game’s current design is decent, for new players like me the game offers a more Arcady way of experiencing its content, with gears scores on and lower difficulty options I have some casual RPG progression fun in the first few weeks, currently practicing stealth, and the difficulty options of the game allows me to not feel punished by the game when I inevitably screw up, which happens quite a lot for a newcomer to tactical shooters like me, providing a space for anyone to learn the game better at their own pace, or not learn the game at all and play it like a CoD campaign, it’s a very accessible game with some optional learning curve, I still understand some veterans complaints about the game’s difficulty is basically “more hurty bullets”, I can imagine the better and better one get at the game, you should not be shot at very often, being spotted for many is already a failure, so I do agree that the game’s difficulty should come with smarter enemies with more variety to their actions and even strategy
I play however i feel like at the time. Sometimes extreme, advanced or gear score. It just depends. My biggest issue is the world of auroa is empty. And feels empty. This game should have been a fictional country not an island.
I use 2 weapons only if i run a sniper rifle as that still is realistic or milsim or whatever. I also use gear score as well but i look at it as adding a quality system to your gear. Gear breaks down and gets worse and while not perfect the gear score system can kind of emulate that being that the low level gear performs worse than higher level. I do think a quality system on gear would be great though if implemented properly
I like playing stealthy with my acr but sometimes I eventually get spotted and start getting rushed that’s when I pull out my m4 shotgun you know for close encounters 😁
Another great video! I got hooked on tyrantslayer01 game play, with his rules. That really turned the game around for me. Taking it from an average game with no real challenge to a lot more realistic and a whole new game. I love survival mode
Pause as needed while reading Andy I don’t want you to faint running out of breath ps. Best way to play the game well we can’t do that yet I don’t think and here’s why. I will say the way I want to play most/best way to play I think I want realism as priority one. If you hit a enemy in a vital organ 1-3 times and they aren’t armored they are dead no ifs ands or butts. If your camo doesn’t match the environment you are in the detection speed is doubled compared to if it matches takes twice as long to see you. Another issue I agree with Jeremy rip, and random guys opinion in a previous podcast USA military guns get everything and any other countries weapons that aren’t actually used by the enemy faction in the game pay irl money to get those weapons. Use spec ops gear currently being used and include cool stuff in the base game and if you have micro transactions have it maybe be some more rare pieces of gear I don’t have a gear piece example but a gun example the m200 intervention is a example using a fire arm as a example for the type of price and rarity of gear I mean something like the intervention but gear instead of a gun in terms of super expensive and not commonly seen being used by special forces have that in the store compared to the Crye g3 or g4 or mk17 where if ya take a dart and a map of the world 8/10 times that dart will hit a country that uses both compared to the intervention and a rare piece of tactical gear. Another thing don’t include camos in a game if there isn’t a environment to use them in. Basically the way I feel ghost recon should be is simple realistic tactics a truly evil and horrible enemy faction realism is at the front of the priority for every programming decision in the game and all USA used guns barring say glocks because glock are in the game for free at launch. I just want a ghost recon game that is what it should be in all honesty a small group of people hopefully 6 of the most deadly operatives in USA spec ops going into a country and doing what needs to get done and it is a challenge but a fun challenge with a villain that is evil to the core and a set of people who are the good guys ie us and the 5 npc team mates and the cia/fbi contact we have to take this faction down. Also maybe a military faction instead of a rebel faction I don’t know just a thought. The way I play breakpoint also is loud and proud why? Because stealthy and slow is near impossible on Xbox since every time I’ve tried slow and steady I’ll zero a random fuck line up a shot and he will appear behind me detect me and before I have time to react everyone is after me.
I used to play it full stealth with the drone recon etc. But then i tried to "Brother On Brother " and got wreck in that room. 🤬 So now I've unlocked a few things in the assault tree and each time i need to a mission with a proper base, i go assault rifle with 203 and that automatic shotgun. Both with extended mag / drum, pack mule, feel no pain, then whichever 3rd perk a need on the fly. ....when it goes t!ts up, it's Jack Baur with the shotgun time, because it's totally dumb that I'm some elite dude but I've got to unlock my own skills 🙄. Did i get ammesia in the crash? Also, if i can take dudes guns, i should be able to rob those dudes with the bulketsponge batman capes. 🤷♂️ Maybe they should bring back the OICW, if they're going to have Harry Potter capes, Batman capes and rocket launchers that fit in your pockets.😂 Standard play for me is. Mine the entrace roads at 20m intervals. Take out rocket gunners and snipers. Put c4 on the generator (or turn it off before it gets dark). Then just try not to kill civilians.
2 long guns is kind of nice so you just get to use more weapons. Like how to justify carrying an LMG and losing silent long range capability? You can't. But if you just give yourself an extra weapon slot then you can enjoy a bit of variety and using other guns than the cookie cutter stuff every time.
I use an mk14 to take out as many guards as I can from outside the base without anyone noticing When a body is noticed, I then switch on my pathfinder UAV and absolutely level the places that they clump up to defend as well placing plenty of lures and scanning the crap out of the place along with obliterating the reinforcements that they may or may not have called I then go in with my lmg and mop up the last 3-4 guys too spread out to justify a predator missile I do this all without removing the white hot thermal vision in the dead of night
I'm more of an action person. Like clear out a whole base with a lmg and shotgun. I play on advanced because elite is just too much for one man. I have the ammo health bar turned on but that's about it. I go in, tank some shots, deliver some shots, cause some explosions, destroy their shit. It's definitely not easy since people and those small little annoying drones can gang up on you pretty fast, but managing yourself throughout all of that is the fun for me👍
I dislike the elitism of only playing Extreme no HUD. Play however you like it. I started with gear score on, lower difficulty as it was the first time playing GR in donkeys years. Once I got hold of the game, I went full on extreme, no HUD, etc., but I found myself not using as many different weapons, bored of how difficult the game was to navigate since exploration is a bit crap. I found a happy middle by switching to immersive, keeping HUD to a minimum (compass and spotted marker) and switching all drones off. The final step was adding some of my own rules, like if I use the drone, I have to return it to my character or otherwise it will be lost, no fast travel, no parachute unless I steal a helo... things like that make the game actually enjoyable.
and that is the point bud you should play it your way however you like. i only play no hud elite because i enjoy the challenge but i do get it can seem elitist
Can be really good fun.
i love me some escape and evasion yours sounds fun bud.
Sounds awesome.
i like your concept too,im gonna implement it once we finish operation motherland with my nephew
This sounds super fun
Im finished the Wildlands a few days ago, and now im started the break point in immersive mode, and I love it. I don't know why a lot of people hate break point, it's a great game 🔥
They hated it because the game was really bad at the start and after some months they fixed and add more stuff that the community wanted.
its a great game bud
good point here
Because the game was nothing like how it is now at launch. They should have had all of this available from day 1 and not had to basically change the entire game.
they played normal mode
I use one primary and a side arm, the primary is usually a DMR. I love to create my own realism in the game. While considering what my carry weight would be, say, if I carry three weapons with all the ammo, grenades etc the weight I would be carrying would be to much. Plus as a female player I take into consideration my body frame, I think this would add to Fatigue, higher risk of injury and slower , shorter running speed and distance.
So for me one primary and a side arm with the ammo, is enough to deal with . Great video.
thank you dude, i like this idea and thats what is good about the game we can make our own ideas
Based
I know, the game gives you too much ammo which in real life is one if not the most hindering when it comes to carry weight.... i like how wildlands gave you a choice to carry 100 rounds.
I find myself coming back to this game with a different mindset. To be immersed in the beauty of the game, instead of just getting through the objectives. I'm going to instill this realism into my gameplay as well.
There is no right or wrong way, have fun and enjoy.
agree bud all day long
I guess I don't have enough time to commit to gaming to get this good.
To each their own :)
i try not to use any gadgets and just stick to my one main weapon on no hud elite. though i do use thermal sometimes at night lol
I feel like breakpoint is the closest we’ll ever come to another proper army of two game
dude army of two was epic i loved those games
@@BulletCatcherGaming the first one yeah two and three sucked.
Army of two was a love letter to the fps community who has those buddies we been playing shooters with all our gaming life and your right I haven't had this much fun since aot and grbp captured the freedom of using teamwork to win over everything
@@cozzy4447 i respect what you said but in my eyes 1 and 2 were perfect but yes 3 sucked
Got the game after immersive mode was introduced. Started on normal with most HUD on, finished the game and DLCs then got inspired by certain TH-camrs to crank up the difficulty to extreme/elite settings, use one primary, and lose all or most of the HUD and it was like playing a different game. Nearly 1,000 hours in game now and I still play extreme/no HUD mostly, but do have one save with gear score on and everything on easy settings with full HUD where I roleplay as a super-soldier :D
you followed the path of most of us bud i think thats how alot of people tend to change their play style
And also just a lot of fun.
agree i only ever use one bud
I do one gun- with a shotgun lol. Don’t be so afraid! Take off that silencer!
There's a shotgun attatchment for some AR's. Best of both worlds!
You know, because the pain and suffering of life isn’t quite enough for me so I have to experience it in a video game as well.
this is a great way to play with two characters bud
That's genius, so on one hand you get to be a badass equiped with the best the US military can come up with and on the other hand youre truly a elite warrior trapped in enemy territory fighting a uphill battle
@@McKillahGuerilla Exactly! And the way I play differs greatly. On my easy character, I run to the objective and complete it since there is little to no challenge. On my hard character, I have to stop often to check for patrols before I even get to my objective, especially the wolves patrol. I get genuinely nervous when I spot them. It is a whole other experience than with my easy character.
@@McKillahGuerilla it is good idea, i run two characters but not like this lol
@@underratedintrovert2431 its a great suggestion bud
Thanks for using my pic in the thumbnail! Awsome video as always bud.
you are welcome dude thank you again
When is the road map coming out ? The weapon that I really really want is the XM8 Assault Rifle and would be awesome if we can get a Ghost Recon 2 legacy roadmap . The main stuff we all need customize our enemies clothing and fix immersive mode have a way to switch weapons in your inventory and add more default camos for our clothing .
we don't even know we are getting a year 3 yet bud
Ubisoft is no longer supporting the game
I think what they did with motherland as far as content and region lieutenants was very well done.
1.I would like a stronger civilian population presence.
2.Make clearing rooms a little more trigger careful.
3.Smoke grenades
4 denser vegetation all over.
5. Damage and gun sound rework. Pistols shouldn’t do more then ASR’s
6. Way heavier troop presence
7.more guns- way more. This should be easy to do.
8. More accurate camo.
9.lasers, sights, and attachments should be interchangeable regardless of gun.
10. Better flight mechanics.
Bonus- make the in-game gas masks compatible with all gas grenades and gas areas.
yes please to all of these bud lol
@@BulletCatcherGaming did they stop working on the game tho?, i pray that they still work on it i mean cmon this is a masterpiece of a game no reason to stop on it haha
Great video as usual. I wish sometimes Breakpoint had the tier difficulty system from Wildlands. That was the right way to play for a lot of us during Wildlands days.
thank you buddy, yeah tier mode was epic would love to see that come back
it’s interesting that there’s a group of players that have fun turning off all the fun things about the game. 😂
Also I play with drones, and radar on normal.
agree if your not enjoying it your doing something wrong
would like to see more enemy NPC's hidden in buildings so we have to do more slow and planned out stealthy game play
to be able to get to the intel in a building instead of just running easily through a building with hardly any resistance
also we are all on an island filled with scientists developing new tech, so I would like to see our ghosts continue to get
more tech like a grenade that when it explodes it sends our an energy attack like a large pulsewave blast that extends out 15 meters
I would also like to have the drone EMP ability brought back.
I would also like to see the ability to fight from the water I want the ability to fire my weapon in the water and also be
able to swim up to a dock and pull an enemy NPC into the water and kill him also would be nice to see enemy boat patrols that we could engage
I would also like the see specialty weapons like the ones you get from golem island to be hidden in remote locations around the main island
so it would be really worth going exploring and have those weapons hidden on mountain sides or in caves or small farms or my a lake side or in a deep bog in the jungle
for those players who are only interested in single player game play
emp drone would be an awesome return bud i agree. aldo the speciality weapons being hidden around the secret locations is a nice idea
@@BulletCatcherGaming yeah, I haven't raided since the 1st year of the game, and you should also somehow be able to get 300 gear without raiding. I'm currently changing my playstyle, just haven't figured out just what all I want/don't want. Also, at my age, with vision issues and slowed down reflexes, I prefer to have full HUD.
bruh this aint cod aw chill lmfao
Here's what I do in Wildlands:
- Turn off markers
- Keep the minimap on (no markers or blots) so I don't have to constantly check where I'm going.
- Lost my char in Ghost Mode due to falling through the map so normal campaign with self imposed permadeath
- To compensate for the extra weapon, I turn off the AI team (when I want to use them, I don't use my secondary weapon)
- Only level up, change guns and enable AI team in friendly camps
- Advanced difficulty is what I enjoy most, but sometimes I do go extreme when I want to harvest some points (still haven't unlocked everything)
ghost mode can be problematic for sure
Been waiting for this great as always
thank you buddy
Seems to have turned into a really great game with a lot of options for play style, which most games dont have. Might have to get stuck back into this. One thing i always think these games could benefit from is a 10 minute replay free camera option. Replay some of those massive gun fights from a drone perspective free cam.
I start editing it 😂😂😂
Coming from playing division i kinda enjoyed the gear level system, was like a massive woodland version of a division game.
IE if you where a ghillie suit and hide in the bushes , then the enemy will have a harder time detecting you or if you wear a vest that covers most of your torso then you have more protection but you're slower
agree these needs to happen in the next game bud
Been hoping for this forever!
The one thing I like about gear score is it gives you incentive to explore. Otherwise getting new weapons becomes basically useless. I go back and forth but gear score does just add another level of interaction
i made a bane outfit and i am enjoying going around acting like i’m the actual villain. it really feels fun
Stealth is still a decent challenge (especially at huge bases) but not frustratingly difficult
Edit: forgot to add some of the things I personally like to do so here it is:
1. Using semi-auto only (the only time I go full auto is to take out drones or heavy enemies that’s it)
2. Realistic looking loadout(s) (outfit, guns, attachments, etc.), really weird but to me it just feels right to do it this way.
3. Only 1 primary weapon, I only need one 2 for me is just unnecessary.
4. No using Rations, I find them to be useless anyways. If my character is going to eat he’s eating at camp
My conclusion: personally I like to label my play-style as “casual immersion” not unrealistic but not overboard with the realism, a good balance whilst providing challenge
more options we get the better so you can use the pieces you want. i play the game so much i just need it to be as hard as possible
I like the fact you can toggle the HUD as you play without fiddling around with settings
Turn off that hud. Makes the game boring with it on . You know where everyone is at
Play how ya want.
Great video Andy!

I’m lost I don’t know how to find the main story mission, I brought this game on day one release & put it down for the exact same reason, I’ve recently picked it back up but can’t figure it out as there’s far to much going on for me, I’m lost 🤷🏻♂️
go into the section that shows the operations on the pause menu you can break down all the missions from there bud
Thank You, Your videos make playing Ghost Recon more fun.
I personally prefer it to turn gear score on because I can switch my weapons much faster but I still play with no hud and on extrem
i can understand that bud
Keep up the good work.
more choice and options is always best bud
i just started about 2 weeks ago and from what I've heard im glad i waited so long to get into it because of all the bugs they fixed and things they added. im a die hard Splinter Cell fan and this (in immersive mode) has been the closest thing I've personally got to it in years. i really like it
I first tried breakpoint in beta and quickly decided that unlike other CR games, it wasn't for me... Until I ran into a tuber with no hud and going all the way ghost. The reason I checked up the game in youtube long after the release was because it was free for PS+ users. I'm still having an absolute blast with the game occationally. Would propably have even more fun if I could team up with other players.
its a great game, it has some flaws but as you say no hud extreme is such a fun way to play
Even though I just started playing Tom Clancy's ghost recon breakpoint I've always played tactical shooters with a tactical way of thinking and acting tactically
(My mentality in tactical shooters is to get the job done
efficiently
cleanly
effective while without leaving a trace or witnesses)
After all if they can't see you they can't kill you
This whole video points out, by attempting to describe the typical GR player, how lost the identity of the game is.
I won't be one of them to begin with.
good points here, i did not mention world modifiers as it was more about difficulty settings etc, i might do a video on them
I'm happy with it.
@@BulletCatcherGaming Hi and thanks I'm using the PS4 ,I'll look for those world perimeters the next time I play.
@@sweetbrandigirl add me if you want a game i am on playstation too
Fire in bursts? Or go semi-auto?
I have a lore theory I use when I ever play this game or wildlands with the hud, and it’s the crosscom glasses/goggles. My head cannon is what the ghosts use are a more advanced prototype version than what gets used in advanced warfighter and the other titles. Lore wise it fits even if you think about the night vision and thermal too.
Cheers for another great content.
Any idea on the patch update from yesterday?
that was a nothing pc patch i believe
After a long break, i'm discovering motherland and i enjoy it.
motherland is really good fun and a challenge on no hud elite
Great video and i play with the gear score off and play in immersive mode because gear score smacks of the division too much for me i also have it so i can only change my weapons at bivouacs darkest night is on stamina consumption is extreme as is risk of injury enemy difficulty is normal because i died too often on hard and i admit I’m not a brilliant player and i do turn the hud off occasionally but a great video as always 👍😊
thank you bud, you play like i do everything off, darkest night, on weapon, no gadgets other than thermal for night.
@@BulletCatcherGaming cool and you’re welcome 👍😊

Iv noticed most players prefer someone with a mic. I have a mic but I also use text

Nice video brotha. This is a great idea and informative. I like the No HUD but the “EXTREME STEALTH” just isn’t realistic or challenging. I’ll take a gunfight on extreme difficulty over stealth any day
agree bud gunfight on extreme is much more realistic
I never use suppressors for that reason! I love baiting enemies with my loud shots. Just keep on the move! Wish the ai was smarter though. They forget you’re in the base way too often
Just started this on ps4 think I'll be restarting it very informative
Thanks, love the tips!
thank you so much bud
These types of raids are alot fun, I think, and will definitely test your meddle.
we have done this before actually it can be alot of fun i need to do that mode again
I’m a ghost, not a standard run of the mill soldier.
thats the way to play bud
I play on immersive mode on PS5 because it's more realistic but how do you get the objectives to show?
Great video!!!! 👍 brother
thanks buddy

The one weapon makes your role in the group and play style simpler hence why most people frown upon having to primary weapons
Solo player. The middle ground I use between immersive and guided is turn off all the main hud.
(except Crosshair on dynamic, and Communication Marker on dynamic as well.
3d loot markers on dynamic and light as well,I'll explain later)
Leave the minimap full [except turn off loot icons in the minimap. The minimap gets too cluttered with it on and it's hard to spot enemies on it.
This is why we left 3d loot Markers on (I turn off interaction shader), having it off is also optional if you don't care about weapon attachments or SC.]
This setup almost feels like rdr2 default hud.
Turn hud of and elite, then get a bottle of jd. That's is fun
lol now this is good advice
This game is soooooo underrated bro!!!
When i play my hud is off except sometimes i have compass on. Always imersive mode. And amo lost on reload. Darkest night.
sounds great bud
I been playing Ghost since the first future solider and I try every way that I can think of to get the most gameplay out of the game
Was that what the original one on PC was called? The "welcome to Tblisi, gentlemen" one with the green writing?
I'm new to the game, I've done some missions already but i have the gear skills off, i like looting and stuff, but if i change to gear skill on now , will i lose everything i picked up so far ? like skill points and items and so forth? I'm not a die hard, leveling up player but as i mentioned,i do like looting, but even though i prefer the gear skill off mode, but then what's the point searching every area collecting things ? I'm stuck, i don't know which way to go
I primary play as a two man sniper team for most missions but for the bigger missions I turn on the rest of the AI teammates for support
I'm new to this again! I had it a few years ago and couldn't get into it! Would it be better to follow campaign or just free for all and go anywhere!!! Now I'm single and no bloody kids I'd like to get back into it! Obviously there's a campaign and side missions but does it have to be done in a particular order?
jump on a game with me if you like. join the discord and send me a message. i would do the campaign in order

the best thing in breakpoint is the pvp. the pve honestly gets old somewhat fast, the feel of guns etc are great but the open world design doesnt put you in a lot of good and enjoyable gunfights and there are not many enjoyable bases for stealth gameplay either.
pvp is where the game can benefit from what a great gun feel it have. thats what everyone should at least try out. the pvp is great.
sham they did not carry on supporting it
Growing up in the teams I play different than a lot of people. I use the mini map because in real life you would have ISR telling you where enemy’s are. I use 2 weapons sometimes but I will only do that if I’m carrying an MGL or breaching shotgun. You have to use your imagination a lot in this game which I don’t mind. In the beginning I will even start by myself and go “rescue” my teammates and activate them one by one as I rescue or find them.
thank you so much buddy for the support you make great points too especially making up your own games
Hey brotha what you do is worthy of supporting! Thanks for all the work you put in to this. Love and support always from 🇺🇸
you keep saying "you can play the game however you want too cause you bought it". then you make us feel like shit for playing on an easier setting.......

I was used to payday 2 stealth when I started at this game, made stealth a lot easier to get into to
i have not played that game any good?
I play however i feel like at the time. Sometimes extreme, advanced or gear score. It just depends. My biggest issue is the world of auroa is empty. And feels empty. This game should have been a fictional country not an island.
agree bud its one of the biggest issues i have with the game
I use 2 weapons only if i run a sniper rifle as that still is realistic or milsim or whatever. I also use gear score as well but i look at it as adding a quality system to your gear. Gear breaks down and gets worse and while not perfect the gear score system can kind of emulate that being that the low level gear performs worse than higher level. I do think a quality system on gear would be great though if implemented properly
thank you so much buddy for the support you make great points too
I like playing stealthy with my acr but sometimes I eventually get spotted and start getting rushed that’s when I pull out my m4 shotgun you know for close encounters 😁
Another great video! I got hooked on tyrantslayer01 game play, with his rules. That really turned the game around for me. Taking it from an average game with no real challenge to a lot more realistic and a whole new game. I love survival mode
thank you buddy appreciate that. tyrantslayer had a great mode we still play it now bud
Because stealthy and slow is near impossible on Xbox since every time I’ve tried slow and steady I’ll zero a random fuck line up a shot and he will appear behind me detect me and before I have time to react everyone is after me.
i agree and basically what future updates need to do is give us more options to play the game
I get you PERFECTLY 🤝🏽
I used to play it full stealth with the drone recon etc.
But then i tried to "Brother On Brother " and got wreck in that room. 🤬
So now I've unlocked a few things in the assault tree and each time i need to a mission with a proper base, i go assault rifle with 203 and that automatic shotgun.
Maybe they should bring back the OICW, if they're going to have Harry Potter capes, Batman capes and rocket launchers that fit in your pockets.😂
Standard play for me is.
You can't. But if you just give yourself an extra weapon slot then you can enjoy a bit of variety and using other guns than the cookie cutter stuff every time.
this makes sense bud totally
The Division series was pretty decent, and honestly, gear score belongs only in there
no argument here bud
I use an mk14 to take out as many guards as I can from outside the base without anyone noticing
When a body is noticed, I then switch on my pathfinder UAV and absolutely level the places that they clump up to defend as well placing plenty of lures and scanning the crap out of the place along with obliterating the reinforcements that they may or may not have called
I then go in with my lmg and mop up the last 3-4 guys too spread out to justify a predator missile
I do this all without removing the white hot thermal vision in the dead of night
I'm more of an action person. Like clear out a whole base with a lmg and shotgun. I play on advanced because elite is just too much for one man. I have the ammo health bar turned on but that's about it. I go in, tank some shots, deliver some shots, cause some explosions, destroy their shit. It's definitely not easy since people and those small little annoying drones can gang up on you pretty fast, but managing yourself throughout all of that is the fun for me👍
thank you so much buddy for the support you make great points too. don't hear too many shotgun fans these days in the game
