    There is a lot of debate over Netaji surviving that deadly air crash - 76 years ago - but beyond that - what have we done to save Bose ??? You are sorely mistaken if you think he would support the forward bloc today. Forward bloc leaders are attending CCP's 100 year celebration meetings (along with cpim obviously). The same CCP that has challenged India's sovereignty multiple times even in recent years. Communists value other communists above their nation (same can be seen with radical islamists). And K.P.S Menon grandfather of Shibshankar Menon (security advisor of PM Bajpaye) was ranked 1st in 1920s ICS exam. Go and check the list of Indians clearing ICS between 1900 to 1947. Hope this information will open your eyes.

    The enigma of Bose's death always intrigued me. All the conspiracy theories would excite me. But then never asked myself why i wished him to be alive. You rightly said a person's ideologies and virtues continue to linger even after they are long gone. Keeping Bose's ideologies and virtues are more important than wishing him to be alive, when majority of us have led his sacrifices to waste.

    When Gandhiji and Neheru discussed to remove Netaji from his presidency that moment Netaji was at Malda, and had plan to have meal at my metarnal great grandparents home. Unfortunately upon getting news of removal he immediately left for kolkata.

    Netaji shall never be forgotten. Don't know how aware the country is about all his struggle. But when you go to Bengal, see people visiting his residence in Elgin road, Kolkata, shedding tears for the boy who gave up everything for the people of India, I realize he will remain the hero of every citizen that have interacted with an informed Bengali.
    Inquilab Zindabad. Vande Mataram. I hope to see a country undivided by gender, caste, religion and economy. I dream of a welfare state even today. A true democratic communist state. Long live Subhash.
