"an excitement when shooting" is what people can feel after it's all said and done. Spot on message and one of your best narrations. Some beautiful forgotten moments in here
This is the most beautiful video I have ever seen on TH-cam, seriously. The colors were literally popping out and your narration was on point... Great job man
beautiful film Noah!! I think this perspective is truly the best balance - finding the tools which you personally enjoy and allow you to execute your vision, but then being content once you've found what works
This video encapsulates how I felt going from my Sony a6600 to the Fuji XT3. I love and enjoy shooting on my Fuji so much because of bitrates and colors, even though both cameras are mirrorless. Amazing video, storytelling, and shots. May we, as creators, stop falling into the trap of consumerism and go back to the reason for why we started; that being our love and passion for creating.
You can tell through your voice that this is something you're really passionate about. The message is spot on. It's like another language, and you've been able to take that language and learn how to speak very eloquently and clearly.
Amazing video and story! This is what pop up in my mind while watching: what kind of experience we have while creating is very important, and the camera which bring joy while having this experience of creation - matters! Thank you for sharing this story! I found it while searching TH-cam videos about camera that as I think - will bring joy to me.
I couldn’t agree more with that statement that you made at the beginning of the video. We usually forget about the joy of using a camera (or gear in general) when considering a new purchase or comparing it with other camera (gear). Nice video!
What’s so crazy is I’ve felt the same way when I picked up the the bmpcc 4k black magic just captures so much emotion and feel it just does something for the soul
Congratulations 🎉 Noah, you found the camera that works for you. Filmmaking 🎥 is much more than owning the best camera out there. I like your style you got a new Sub 😉from 🇨🇭
I sold the BMCC 2.5k that I loved to "upgrade" to the BMPCC 4k. It was a technically superior camera, but I didn't love it. Then I repeated the mistake by selling the P4k to buy a Sony A7iv, which has tonnes of quality of life improvements, but leaves me feeling cold. So now I'm on the mission to find a nice clunky cinema camera that gives me that old warm feeling.
I’ve never used the 2.5k! I would love to get my hands on the tiny OG cam as well. They have so much character that’s for sure. What will you get next?
@@NoahsNostalgia I'm thinking of getting a Kinefinity Terra 4k or Kinefinity Mavo LF. I would have just bought another BMCC 2.5k but they have non-replaceable batteries that are all dead by now and I prefer a minimalist setup over a cage and external battery.
This is exactly how I felt when I sold my Sony a6400, and all of the plethora of lenses that I had, and bought a Panasonic S5. I’m only using two old vintage Minolta Rokkor lenses, and I have one Sigma 28-70 just to have. And I’m in love with this camera. (The original S5). I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing.
You know that feeling when it's real is when the Inspiration is real! and you know it! there's no changing that... Thank god for the Inspirations and the visions that drive us to create! Well done 👌🍻
How refreshing! Totally agree. I am in love with the Sony FX30 and I want to record every day… despite the shortcomings of the FX30 and the arrival of the Sony ZV-E1. There is always a new and better camera, but that’s not the point…
Noice! Just watched video about my dream camera and there was comment about how that camera changed person's life and boom, here is your video about different camera but still how beautiful it is in different ways. Thank you!
if you were to buy a camera today for documentary/ vlog content, what camera would you choose, fx3, ev-1, canon 6 mark ii, or any other suggestion. I also take pictures occasionally great content
I think I would get the FX3 out of those options. But all seem great! For vlogs it seems like autofocus would be important and a flip out screen. I’d stay away from canon cameras that don’t have C log 2
With your experience can you guide me on something, Around next week I will be getting my Blackmagic 6k pro but my budget can cover lens yet and I can't just wait for me to complete the money to buy the lens cuz I can't just let the time to get experience get wasted like that. So To start getting myself prepared I'm with little budget I still have I decide to order a smartphone gimbal to start choosing shooting and practice cinematography What I need your guide on right now is that let's say I start practicing with the phone and I use the gimbal to gain experience then the remaining budget complete and I get the lens, cage and all accessories I need for the BMPCC 6k pro, will it affect me like shooting on the Blackmagic and then sometimes switch between the smartphone or can I use the smartphone for something else while based on the Blackmagic 6k Pro You seems to use two cameras cuz you mentioned a fuji camera
I would love this cam, but it's more hustle than pleasure. I shoot a lot of short films and love to play with colors. But red light just doenst look right, it's just too big for most budget gimbals. I mean yes the image ist fine but why these reds look so pinky ☹️
@@NoahsNostalgia yeah Okey, that's true! But did you experience similar problems with red lights? I tested that if you switch back to gen 4 the reds getting a lot better but in gen5 it's more pink than red

Straight up one of the best videos ive watched in a while. The visuals are nice but your story telling is punchy, love it! Keep it up.
Really appreciate that man! Thank you
Amazing, Noah. You've got such a natural, authentic way of shooting and editing. Much appreciated. I needed this reminder today, thank you.
Thank you so much!

I know what you mean. I've been using the original Blackmagic 2.5k since 2013 or so and still loving the image
