This episode reminds me of the old shorts they would show before the matinee feature. Well done...

Another great build, and a touch of nostalgia with the cartoon. The last time I watched that cartoon I must have been ten or eleven years old. And that was over 60 years ago.👏👏👍👍🇦🇺

Such a fun story and I really like that it isn't too overt!
I am on the committee that hosts a local Native American PowWow as my town was a Delaware village. A native woman was talking to me while I was booth sitting one day and I pretended to be the artist. I knew the real artist would be back quickly and the ruse would be up. I was explaining my technique for mixing paint which was largely non-sense but just enough truth thrown in to make her have to think real hard. The artist walked up and she looked at me, looked at him and said 'He's the real artist isn't he'. I said yes he is with the biggest and toothiest grin I could muster. The woman's eyes grew large as saucers and she had a look of shock on her face and then said 'Oh, it's you! I know you!!" I assured her we did not know each other but she insisted and said 'You are the Coyote! I have met you several times but you are definitely the Coyote!' The artist whose booth I was watching is a friend of mine and after he stopped laughing he told the woman she was most certainly correct in her recognition of me as a coyote. Every year when I see her she reminds me she knows who I really am lol! Great stories are such good stuff!!!

    like it.
Will there be a sheep dog rock LOL to keep Coyote rock in check.
    Love the back story.
Everything works better when it has a foundation story and reality as well.
Wish I had some of your skills something like that would have been a nice addition to my proposed layout.
it blends in so well and it looks so natural you have to look for it or you could miss it.
    regards John

Depending how you squint at it, the formation can look like a coyote, or like Pluto - I think it's the "nose".👍😁

Have to say, you are a very gifted individual - artist, story teller, teacher, plus all the technical stuff to put this together, etc., etc., etc. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I always look forward to your posts.

Your story of coyote rock reminds me of Cameo Co. the area (and maybe an abandoned town) was named such because the old timers saw the erosion in DeBeque Canyon and they reminded them of the cameo broatches

Well since ny tablet decided I was finished, well I wasn’t, that was supposed to be britches that were popular in the later part of the 19th century. The area is in DeBeque Canyon, just east of Grand Junction, Co.
