Vielen Dank! Ich selbst bin damit noch nicht so zufrieden, aber es wird immer besser und fliessender. In Kanada zu leben hilft natuerlich enorm, da ich hier mit Deutsch nicht sehr weit komme, hahaha. Viele Gruesse Ydna
To call it a Bonham Lick kind of makes sense, but I wouldn't really attach a name to it, it's so widely used, even before Bonham started using it. Stilistically there are no boundaries for this fill, from Jazz to Latin to Trash Metal, it's gonna sound awesome if played right. Thanks Ydna
Hey, vielen Dank! Ich habe leider nicht das equipment fuer HD, vielleicht naechstes Jahr. Band habe ich auch nicht, finde hier leider keine Gleichgesinnten :-) Gruesse Ydna
You mean that effect cymbal mounted on my ride? It sounds great, I love it. But you won't be able to buy it since it's an super old UFIP cymbal from the 1940's. Unfortunately it has a little crack, I hope it will last a while before I have to look for a substitute :-))
Hi ! Thats a great lick, isn't it what wr call bonham triplets? ( Except he did High Tom - Low Tom - Bass Drum ) There is a very nice exemple of what you just did in the song Assassin from Muse, the breaks sound awesome and it is exactly what you showed ! Which means it's a great lick that you can use everywhere . Keep doing videos, i love it !
By saying put in the time, he really means you gotta practise this for like 3 months if you don't allready have the coordination, Your gonna have to start sometime so why not with this one
Thanks a lot for the nice comment! I really appreciate it :-)
Great to hear, thanks a lot for the positive feedback!!
Thanks so much, great to hear that you like my drumming style :-))

awesome you gave me some inspiration based on this
I just love triplet licks, they always sound amazing, yet they're quite easy.

It's more like an effect cymbal with rivets. I use a quick release, so I can change within seconds.

Hahaha, yeah, I know. I would love to get rid of it but I don't see that happening in my lifetime, although I think it's getting better though.

about that little rivited effect cymbal, what is it called?? cause now that you play it it sounds BADASS
@IkeProductions89 lasso?
I love German accents :)
"Ze same wolume.."
Very good drummer. It just irks me how his right wrist turns over when he plays between the snare and floor toms. But I do enjoy these videos.
@Jungleritter Nothing wrong with a German accent if you're German :p Don't worry about it.
You have a crash cymbal over your ride?
this is more like learn to play triplets...
