A possessed Peter took his jaw clean off with one punch, because he didn't hold back. Peter also once destroyed an Iron Man armor in one punch when he was extremely angered. Remember how Kingping can seemingly keep up with Spider-Man in a fight? When Peter found out he was responsible for May getting shot, he just gave him a massive beating. Peter made it verbally clear that there is a difference between a strong human and a superhuman. And if you piss him off enough, he will stop caring about pulling his punches. Peter threw a damn car into a building at a regular sniper. Poor dude ran for his life. In the Web of Shadows game, you are allowed to use more of Peter's strength than in this game. You can even throw a whole tank into a regular thug if you wanted to. BUT, in comic books, having skills is somehow enough to make you keep up with superpowered beings. Like Batman not immediately dying against gods.
