If you like the Otter, Robert Klaas also makes the Arbeitsmesser "work knife" pretty much the same pattern... great knives, and great Idea for a video!
The chestnut jigbone is beautiful. The asymmetry of the Otter is cool. I like toothy edges too. Losing a screw/stripping something after sending you those omegas I don’t know if I should feel bad or laugh 🙄

I’ve bought a few knives after watching a video. The one that stands out is the Benchmade 940. I’d seen a bunch of videos on it, including Erica’s. I hated it. It just sat in my knife drawer, until I decided I’d dedicate some time to it. Now it’s one of my favorite knives and it’s rare that I don’t have a 940 on me.
Oh boy this video is speaking to me...awesome knives! I really love that GEC viper, I need to get one of those. I just picked up one of those new GEC #87 Brazilian jigged cherry wood beaver tails, and holy smokes, seeing your #85 with the beaver shield makes me wanna hunt one of those down too. My most carried, most sharpened GEC is still the very first one that I purchased: the #21 Bull Buster back in 2019 from GPKives for $64.50, almost a year after it was released (I just looked it up in my email to confirm this lol). My oh my, how things have changed...they're pushing $300 on ebay now wtf?!? You mentioned 'TheMartialist' youtube channel, whom you got a knife from.. For anyone reading this, his channel is absolutely ESSENTIAL, if you like traditional pocketknives. He's smart, funny and is a great repository for all things GEC and traditional knives in general. At least half the knives I own I got after seeing it on the tube lol. That Viper is aazing! I'd love to get my hands on one! That chestnut jigged bone is gorgeous too! I have a few Otter-Messer knives, and they're pretty good. I like the Bee knife from them. They're not Boker or GEC quality, but they're ok.

Gec's and case copperheads from watching Jersey knife guy. Sow belly stockman from watching Thrifty Kaniffy and the list goes on and on. Good video.

I bought an Ontario R2D2 after seeing it on TH-cam; can’t remember who I watched. Modern knives are not my thing but I wanted to try one, not too big, not too expensive. D2 better than Aus8; smaller than many others. I cut myself first day when it arrived. 😲 Not bad, but drew blood. I still have it the knife. 😉
We call it “christened” once you’ve cut yourself with it. I love the R2D2! It’s my car knife, for days when I’ve forgotten a knife. I hate that feeling when you go to your pocket and have forgotten to pack a knife!
