MJLONIR was designed as combat gear for the Spartans because they'd likely just destroy anything else, as an added bonus it makes them faster and stronger and that is enhanced even further when paired with an AI. Plus the visor is probably one of the weakest points of the set (which is probably why some branches of the military armament companies in Halo lore have decided on designs like GUNGNIR and Locus, which do not have visible visors. The exception being GUNGNIR which has a very small visor point), which makes it more understandable why the majority of these assassinations aim for the lower jaw area or just the visor straight up. But a lot of them that go for the neck, back of the head, or lower skull are designed to break the connection of the wearer and the armor. Without that connection, the armor would put a considerable amount of weight on their bodies (most likely to the point of crushing them).

Funny you're doing this now when 343 is imploding (current makers of Halo). Funny enough I wasn't really made they took over with Halo 4. I thought it was a good game and thought the series was in good hands. They did a fantastic job proving me wrong with V and Infinite.

Nathan Fillion is my fav actor. He did an amazing job as Buck. Not shy about how much I hate V but he was almost reason enough to go through it.

Honestly 343 have been doing pretty bad with the series. People broke with Infinite, but V was a pretty horrible game in its own right.
It's pretty fun even though it feels the most different but still obviously a Halo game.
