I’m a military widow. Lost him to suicide 2 years ago. You should hear our four year old belt out the chorus to this… (I’ve listened to the rock version several times). We have 5 kids total. All four of you are incredible. Thank you for continuing to carry on the legacy of those lost overseas and at home.

Thank you guys so much. It made me cry but that’s a daily. My father is a Vietnam vet, I’m US army Vet, my husband is still serving now. I will always remember the day I came home from Afghanistan and saw my dad and I’m not ashamed to say I cried in his arms, he looked me in the eyes and said, now you have cried for who you lost, now it’s time to live for them. I know and understand what you can’t and won’t talk about, but now is the time that you start fighting again, if you feel like your breaking remember that you are living for those that fell and never forget who they are, but never fall because they are waiting for you at the table when all is said and done.
Thank you and your husband for your service, and if your dad is still with us, Welcome him home. Because those who came back from 'Nam, never got a Welcome Home celebration.

Dad was 173d Abn Bde Sep 66 67 Nam. Agent Orange related cancer stole him from me Jan 15,21. He was so proud to have served although he silently fought his while life to control the demons. All I ever prayed was that he'd find peace...Sadly that could never be found in this lifetime...I think I died with him and wanted to fall at his graveside when that handsome young soldier handed me that folded flag and thanked me on behalf of The US Army n The United States. To my dying day I'll never EVER forget his face or the look in his eyes... I'm in tears as I type this I'm sure some can relate. That folded flag n some memories are all I've left of my Hero. He was tough af even at 72yo he could lock cock n be ready to rock in a blink n always said if called he'd go right back. He enlisted to go to Nam,and went Airborne because the 3d Herd were an elite Airborne outfit n he proudly wore his shit as he called it and never missed a chance to honor his fallen brothers and those before him. He was my hero my rock my best friend and biggest fan...he was my Daddy. He'd absolutely love this and love what you all stand for and represent. On behalf of my Dad n Myself, American Patriots....Thank You and God Bless You 🙌 🙏 WE WILL NEVER EVER FORGET YOU. ✝️🇺🇲🦅💜☝️

My grandfather. Served Marines, army, and national guard and was never properly activated. He survived his fight, but I'm the end he lost the war to Cancer. Stage four lymphoma was put into it's grave, before stage 4 lung took him. They have him full honors, activated him, and the soldiers in our family did his 21.

My dad was army national guard. I have many friends overseas and I'm the started who are in military. I’m 51 and very few songs now a days get me emotional, but 🥹THIS! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹THIS!!! Unbelievable! My dad and my grandfather were in the Army/Air Force both served Vietnam and WW2. I remember my dad would be in his workshop singing the cadence battle. I was little I didn’t know any better, I just thought it was just another song he knew.
Little did he know 40 some years later, over a million civilians would be screaming it at the top of their lungs! I wish he was alive to hear these 🫡 thank you you have no idea what an impact you have just made round these parts!!!❤❤❤

My father was in Nam and died on 9/9/09 from things that happened both in the service and after due to health issues from hazards of war and poor choices. But never forget God has a plan for us all.
