The striker fire control mechanism are identical to the Springfield XD's. If you compare the sear and safety plunger lever, they both work the same way. Turkish manufacturers copy something that already works. Tisas chose a good system (HS Produckt route) for their striker fired pistols. This is essentially the budget version of the XD9 subcompact with a Taurus tx22 style shape.
The XD is a Croatian pistol design and the hellcat I was surprised when I found this out I thought Springfield design these firearms but it’s just a rebranded pistol
Hence why I mentioned HS Produckt which is the Croatian firearm manufacturer for the XD and Hellcat series.
Fully cocked striker without grip safety sounds dangerous. Glock striker is partially cocked. Tisaş should not be first purchased pistol. I would go for Glock or HS XD .Warm greetings from Istanbul Türkiye 🇹🇷
@@kevinallies1014 i am aware of that. I said it because tisaş was compared. BTW IMHO Sarsılmaz doesn't produce mechanically reliable handguns. At least you can rely on CANİK's and Stoeger's Mechanism. We Turks aren't the fanboy of Sarsılmaz as well as other unreliable gun makers.
@@yenihesap4090 I'm not sure if the thumb safety prevents the sear from rotating down like a grip safety or it just prevents the trigger bar from pulling forward to engage the sear. My guess is the latter. Regardless, as long as the striker block does its job there is nothing to worry about.
Factory trigger on this is far superior to factory Glock trigger. Definitely blows my Hellcat trigger out of the water too.
Trigger superiority is largely subjective across the board.
Tisas PX9 Gen 3 Series - Its Canik quality, Glock reliability, and price of a Taurus... If you're still hating sure keep the original glock brick at $600 and spend $500+ to upgrade what a PX9 Gen 3 has optic ready at $300-$400 depending on the specific model (nightstalker). Get PX9 save $ then add optic, get holster and belt, ammo and goto range.

I have daggers, glocks, kigers. None are close the the gen 3 px9. Duty, carry, doesn't matter.

Their duty is a hidden gem. Flat face trigger and oh soooooooo smooth. Has low recoil also. I would get the carry, but I have a lot already and my wife's gunna kill me.

I would argue they're a Springfield competition and a great thing bout them. The same mags from the 226 can be used, but you gotta deal with the screws on top where the red dots go can come loose, but they are amazingly good to shoot and i own the night stalker varient
It’s what Glock will never put out. Basically a 19 frame on a 26 slide.
I got the px9 from a pawnshop of 180$. It came with everything! But the previous owner put some bs polish on it. Still shoots like a dream

I have the duty size of this pistol and love almost everything about it. Let the fellas shoot it and they thought I modified the trigger. The only issue that I had was that the mags had to be pulled out instead of falling freely. Now that I see the compact version and it falls free with no issues, I will be pickings this up asap
I have the Px9 tactical in white. Got it for 300$. Love it. 600 rounds through it so far with no issues. Everyone I’ve had with me bought one after we left the range lol

Ijust bought it today in my Country, Love the Design and Size, it costed me 634.52 United States Dollar in Pakistan Country, meansb 177000 PKR. but love the Size and Looks.
has a 4 pound trigger pull and after the breaking period, 3.5 and the initial creep on the trigger dies off after a couple of hundred rounds... however, I can't say is better than the Glock 19 or 45.
Reason being, it's a picky eater... some will work amazingly with a few types of amm and some other will fuck up the accuracy completely and some will cause a lot of feeding/extraction failures.
Advise... find the right ammo for it and strap a red dot in there to improve accuracy, it's a 3.5" barrel gun and tends to be snappy.
Currently on the GX 22 compact and I was looking at the tisas as my nine mil now that I see your video makes me want to buy even more because it’s familiar and similar to the using
Basically the size of the Taurus G3X with the difference in barrel length (3.5 vs 3.2)

The external firing pin block is a Big No Go !!!! If that striker tab snaps the gun will go bang unlike internal firing pin block safeties.

Tisas is made in Türkiye. Imported by an American company.
This reminds me of XD-M's Compact version from around 2010.
For the same price or even less when there's a sale, you can get an RMR cut PSA Dagger. I'd definitely recommend that over a gun like this where you're gonna have a hard time finding light-bearing holsters or any holsters at all

This is Glock competition like all striker fire guns are. It is NOT a head to head competition here.
Some of these guns are decent and I wouldn’t mind buying one, but tisa just did a recall a month ago of like eight models of their pistols, that’s some pretty poor quality control. In my opinion I stick with American stuff.🇺🇸👍

Ive got a Glock" a XD a Canik and a tisas px9 Gen 1... the px9 is my bedside gun.. shoots Better than my glock over 1000 rounds and not 1 NOT ONE hiccup" yeah" is it built like a XD a bit and looks bulky sure but id rather have a Frankenstein by my Side thats 100 percent reliable" than what pop culture has painted as Superman ( Glock') that hasn't been as reliable...
