I love them all: Obiri, Hassan, Dibaba. Wonderful running woman. I hope we will have a good running woman too in the near future with KoKo. Best wishes from Germany! :-)
Helen Obiri is fabulous, not doubt about it,I love that she takes her sprinting earlier years right up into her current mid-distance racing. Now tho in 2021----Hassan has NO equal, not even close----who can win a gold both I the 1500 & @ the same time the 10,000? Right,no one except Hassan.Mile WR,10K WR,1 hour WR, a 1:05 half. She's simply 1 of a kind. Hat's off!
Hellen Obiri the Queen of Africa you make me happy, don:t back off I am looking forward 2020, Olympics to you to get both of them 3000m, and 5000m you just make me proud of queens.
"they have to average 68 seconds per lap or 2:50 per km.. That's a very tall task." This really kind of puts eliud kipchoge's 1:59:40 marathon in perspective, doesn't it? 2:50/km was just about what he ran for the entire marathon... All the athletes in this video are obviously incredible and fitter than any of us are ever likely to be... And kipchoge ran the same pace for 8x longer... Wow.
I love the Kenyans as I could never beat them in College or the World Class races! Hassan is "Juiced" to the Max. Thanks to Alberto Oregon running camp.

Was looking forward to seeing these great athletes this year and corona spoiled everything.Obiri is too much and Hassan I enjoy her performance everytime
If you reach the last 300 m with Obiri by your shoulder you stand no chance. I think the best way to beat Obiri is do what Sifan Hassan did at the World Championships in Doha. Hit an obliterating pace and shake Obiri off early. But then again that's easy in the 10k, but not so easy in the 5000 m as Ayana learnt in that epic World Championship race in London. Still one of my favourite races ever. A real lesson to never give up.
That's very true. If Obiri is by your shoulder in the last 300/400m, you will not win that race. I feel like her form last year wasn't the best. The way she ran that cross country race took a lot from her. That's why she was very inconsistent. She said she wasn't mentally and tactically ready to race a 10,000m race but her coach told her to give it a try. She wants to work on it and come back stronger in the coming Olympics. Tokyo will be wonderful. Can't wait
Tirop was not mentioned until at the end when she was closing in on obiri. She is very young with best running mechanics and economy. She going to be great
