    As an Aussie with zero interests in track and field and athletics in General. This kid is the best thing to happen in Australian sport since Errol Gulden. I've never looked forward to an Olympics since 2000 and that was mainly due to Cathy Freeman. This boy is gonna be the biggest athlete we've ever seen in Australia.

      So true , as absolutely wonderful as Gout is , he did hold back a bit on his sprint at the end. Which means he could very well decide to push forward even faster at the end in another race. Gout you are a absolute joy to watch running!

      He's not even close. There has been a few teenage American phenoms who were running faster than Gout Gout at his age and never improved once they became 20 year olds. The most famous is Erriyon Knighton who ran 19.84 as a 17 year-old. Knighton is still running, made the Olympic finals, but his times haven't improved. Gout Gout has to have the right coach and the desire to improve. After all the human body has it limitations. However, time will tell.

    • @ebok33643
      @ebok33643 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @ Knighton’s 200m mark of 19:49 at the age of 16 has been marked with a “not rectified” due to not meeting anti doping testing requirements. Also, this year he was provisionally suspended by the USADA after testing positive for anabolic steroid - later allowed to complete due to eating contaminated meat (if I’m not mistaken I see a pattern). He has had a troubled time lately. Yes, Gout Gout will need to go through a lot but he seems like a guy destined for greatness and will be working with Noah’s coach soon. I think this guy knows how difficult to succeed given the fact that he is also son of two parents who left Somalia to provide their kids better opportunity.

      @TyroneBlackman7 exactly.. you're talking about someone that hasn't even broken 10 for the hundred and 20 for the 200.
      Yes, he's amazing for his age.. but the distance between where he is now and the world record is massive.

Bolt was given 8.65 (2015 Nassau World Relays) but this was a transponder error. I'd love to know the exact distance he ran here. Looks well under 100 mts, as you can see the classic 100m line behind him as he is about to take the baton. If he can improve his start (sound familiar?) and is well coached on and off the track he could be anything.

    I have a question, knowing nothing about running and such. Is there a physical reason that Gout Gout walks like that, very on his toes? Is it something to do with the muscles, or shoes or is it just his way of walking? Anyway, brilliant young guy - seems to have an amazing future ahead of him and hopefully will only get better and better! :)
