from most goalkeeper clips i've seen on pro clubs, i've noticed that most prefer to stay close to the line because for some reason in this game the way goalkeeping works is that your keeper is more likely to not react to a shot from close range such as in a 1v1 when you're closing the angle. idk it's just really dumb how you can't use realistic techniques in fifa
You can still come off your line and close down the angle, I only do it if i know i can get to the ball or at least be right on top of the ST by the time they shoot. Typically staying on my line does work better in most situations though. A lot of the saves i make where i do come off my line don't make it into videos because they're not very good looking but they do happen still

Heya, I would always suggest using a mixture of both but honestly until they fix the Auto postioning bug i would say just go ahead and get used to using LB as little as possible. I didn't really use it too much last year but I don't really ever touch it this year at all now
In some cases, using L-stick and R-stick together could not be prevented. Some even watched videos using L1 to block the ball using only the R stick. How do you block the ball? It might be weird because it's a translator.
Huge advantage when it's working, Especially in higher divisions. Even simply for distribution, you can get a lot of assists as a GK if your team know what they're doing and when the game is feeling good you can make a lot of saves that the AI simply can't. Obviously there are times where you'll get some stupid animation and feel like your team would be better off with AI but overall i would say having a GK is a advantage if they are good and know what they're doing. Unfortunately it can be hard to tell who is a good goalkeeper from what i have seen. If you are going to play with a goalkeeper you have to know there will be dumb animations and stuff occasionally and just accept that :)
Far reach and the reactions one i think. I would have to double check. I was using the one on one perk but felt like i was getting the walkaway animation more often so took it off otherwise i would be using that
I could do, I'm level 50 now i think, let me get some more time playing and see if I'm going to change build or not. So far 6ft7 99lbs has been working well for me!

If you mean the ones at the start they might only be available on career mode as some of the clips that aren't saves are recorded in career mode :)
