I recently asked for YOU to submit your silliest speedrun ideas for Mario Maker 2 and in this video I attempt to complete them. Buckle up as we try to speed through these ridiculous ideas!

The first half of the video proved that not only is the pig sound effect one of the hardest to find on a normal playthrough of any kind, but honestly Dave might have been better off picking random levels himself rather than letting the game pick for him in the Endless Challenge mode

Change to Title Screen percent, upon finding a title screen level you must finish first try. If you fail to do so you must Skip and find another level.

It's best too just skip every level till you find a troll level, those are the most common to have a pig fart

When chasing pig farts, never skip. If you want to skip at least jump in a pit, every hole is a chance for glory.
A hole has two openings. Learn punctuation.

@@theofficialcreator2231 a sinkhole is made from runoff erosion, like a cave, so there should be two openings already tho fine, where the pit makes a third opening.

Texas Sharpshooter%... Just play a random level, pick any unique feature of the level you get, and audible into claiming that you were speedrunning for that feature the whole time.

Every% you Have to beat start a new endless run on Every difficulty and beat respectivly 4 easy levels 3 normal levels 2 expert levels and 1 super expert level. You Have only 1 skip on each difficulty

Me when i realise that the thumbnail isnt the actual level where Dave found the Pig Fart sound. Great content, keep it up man! 🎉
Some silly ideas.
1) Keydeath percent. you must suffer a keydeath without going back through the keydoor or timing out, then beat the level. Troll levels with intended keydeaths do count, but because they take a long time to beat, they aren't optimal.
2) Antisoftlock percent. you must die in a non trivial anti-softlock without it taking pity on you.
3) Dev Exit percent.
4) Cheese percent. you must cheese a level. Remakes of nintendo levels don't count, and you must actually beat the level.

Should really just... Take all those genius speedrun ideas and...

Idea for next time: Dev Route %. Find any level with a (real) dev route and win it using the dev route. TBD if Level Viewer is allowed or not.

you can't kill any enemies (or destroy objects that have eyes) and you can't eat power-ups (but getting a power-up from a checkpoint is allowed)
Dave remembers you can add sfx directly to Mario right? Just start mashing at the start of a level for a pig toot.

Greetings from the BIG SKY. Pig farts have been haunting my house this morning. Then I took a shit.
Ghost Dave is my new favorite Dave.
1. Pigfart%: loooooooking for a piggy;
2. Titlescreen%: loooooooking for a title;
3. Pick-a-%: loooooooking for a picking;
g, I should add some random pig farts to my levels from now on.
I mean, these weren't really dumb speedruns...just that you were bored and trying aomething else.
I would say this may be a good idea if you want to do a certain condition for a skip in a Super Expert run. Say that it was Pick-a-Path...if you get one in a run, you'll earn a skip. Or you get two in your run, you get 2 skips during the run, and so on.

Here's a speed run idea. All styles %. Beat at least 1 level from each of the 5 game styles. To be played on Expert, or Super Expert only.

The last one he claim that it was a pick a path level and it was not one, because the wrong lock door that he pick just lead to a door that was right at the same spot, unless their was another wrong door that lead to death or alternative path it would have been a pick a path, because if he count that one as a pick a path, one happen way earlier and he did not count it as a pick a path.
He mentioned that even if all doors take you to the goal it would be ok.
But in this level, a wrong door still is death. You get softlocked and have to reset (or timeout), which consumes a life in endless. You need a key to progress, but no longer have a key to choose any remaining doors

I just hate when live streamer do does challenge because it become unfair for the people that made the level, playing the level once for just 3 second, this does not count as you play the level, so the maker will not be credit for your play time since your play time for one time play was too short. To count a level as being play I'm not sure if they short it to 5 minutes, if you don't die and don't retry, if you die and let it respond before skiping it will count as a play even if it is less then 5 minutes.

But yeah, I was trying to sort out a rule system that bypasses that loophole.
You're only allowed one attempt per 24 hour period, and time goes perpetually from moment you declare you are going for it (prior to entering a level of course.)
Still would require 'honor' that you aboded by those rules though. But think thats as close as we can get in something not meant to be taken seriously, haha
