Just for the guys popping on gutter cleaning lol...I bid 1800 dollars for a condo complex with 750 linear feet of gutters..that took me a day and a half. I paid 2 guys a total of 300 bucks. Very good profit margins.
Myself I have a $50 minimum so if I go to a house and they only want a 20 foot section of porch gutter cleaning etc, it’s $50. We measure, so anything over 50 feet of gutter is $1 -$1.50 per foot depending on how bad. We’re getting an average though of $150 or more a job. Gotta have those minimums though. Looking forward to fall of 2020 because we will be cleaning gutters up to four stories high with no ladders and all from ground level. $6,000 system but it’s well worth it. Good video brother.
I use an angled extension wand to blow out the gutters when it's wet and a Stihl BR 800 C-E Magnum blower with an extension I made out of PVC when it's dry. Screw moving and climbing ladders.
I’d like to add as a extra niche, you can add a buffing clean shine to the gutters with something like TSP or friendlier stuff also deck cleaning, pavement cleaning, maybe a soft wash on a dirty roof, even mention a “Preventative Maintenance Program” every say 3-6 months same routine, or stagger ect ect. Anything to expand yourself or standout from the rest and since your already there and set up any extra job on that property is a plus to your profit per time put in.
Being able to pressure wash to the street = priceless. Even with just water if the city sees any oil on the driveway and you are washing to the curb you are going to pay 10k plus to have them shop-vac the drains and fines.
Hey do you ever use temporary anchors on the roof? I’m looking for the safest and fastest way to get gutter cleaning down vacuuming from the ground with a sky vac atom take too long and I don’t want to risk walking on a two story roof without a harness
How much did you charge for a house that size. I’m about to clean the gutters of a house about the same size and I wanna know a firm a fair price. Please help a brother out
Will you make a video showing that it only takes 10 minutes to rinse all those items you mentioned in this video? Also, are you still using The Customer Factor?
BS 10 mins, but it sounds great! I can move a mountain in 20 minutes. Sounds good don't it? Great video and glove advice... we all tend to bs once in a bit...✌🏼
Zac we will bag it sometimes and leave it (on concrete, not on the grass or else bottom of bag will get too wet) but a lot of the time we dump waste in the landscape because a lot of clients have pine trees or more of a wooded area they are backed up to. Or they might even have a burn pit. Just depends. We rarely take the waste with us and if we do we just dump it in the woods by our shop
Yea I wouldn’t want that weight throwing off my balance plus I don’t think it works as well for wet/packed stuff. Rinse and blow it out all at once with an 8gpm. If you tweak the ball valve the right way it’s just as good as any blower
Couple questions for you if you don’t mind. When you wash away the leaves doesn’t it leave a big mess on the house? Also if you rinse the house/roof afterwards are you rinsing with a Jrod?
I would have this vacuumed safely and quickly in 10 mins on that side. Look up applied Cleansing Solutions in Australia mate. Pm me if you have questions
Hey mr. Lang love the Channel, just wondering if you have any suggestions for marketing gutter cleaning specifically (other than upselling current PW customers) Advanced Curb Appeal South Georgia
John great vid Got to be honest I thought the season was done in sep. I've been doing gutter cleaning too and its extended my season till now. Great! Btw have you gotten on vendor lists for property management companies? I have had some luck with that latley
Rida H we have started leaning towards only accepting credit cards for payment. A lot of our clients have a card on file and we just run it when we are done or on Friday
We honestly have never really had to do an oxidation removal job. Our clients usually don’t care enough to pay to fix it but I do make them aware of it. Last thing I want is them thinking we caused it
Great video/ gutter debris clean- $200
Exterior property rinsed- $75
$275 for 45 minutes✊🏻

I am a plumber. Gutters and downspouts are roof plumbing, just a different type of plumbing. I get my Certified Master Toilet Technician's rate.
Very thorough work. Way to group exterior house rinse with gutter wash out.

How do you go about getting bonded and insurable? wondering 🤔
What's the software you are using to track total time per job?
A watch
What software was that on your iPad?
Will you make a video showing that it only takes 10 minutes to rinse all those items you mentioned in this video? Also, are you still using The Customer Factor?

Is that the customer factor? Also, are you disposing of the leaves or just leaving them?

Thank you for the great information! Subscribed! Do you usually get up on the roof or stay standing on the ladder?
Big John Studd! Question for you. Are most of the gutter cleaning jobs in the spring or fall?
do you rake the leaves and debris from gutter blowout that is on lawn with rake or.....how to clean it up. Thanks.. Love your vlog
If it’s a walkable roof then a backpack blower is hands down the best way to clean out gutters.
Excellent idea, just be sure to use plenty of extension so you don't get overbalanced near the edge!
Yea I wouldn’t want that weight throwing off my balance plus I don’t think it works as well for wet/packed stuff. Rinse and blow it out all at once with an 8gpm. If you tweak the ball valve the right way it’s just as good as any blower
Until you fall. I used handheld so i can drop them if i something happens. $250 is easy to replace.

What type of program are you using to track houres and customers jobs I see at the end of your video
Are you collecting money up front from these customers since they’re not at home at the time of the job?
what app are you using to start and stop jobs? customer factor?
I would have this vacuumed safely and quickly in 10 mins on that side.

Could you do oxidation removal on that aluminum siding using gutter butter?
