Just beautiful! The hotel, your room, the food!! Wow! You must have felt like a princess to be the recipient of such luxury! I do have a question about the step into your room: all 5 of your rooms/spaces seemed to be on one level. Was it a step down to enter? So that beautiful hallway was higher than the rooms? It amazes me how really old buildings can be refitted with modern amenities while keeping close to their original beauty. Thank you for posting this video!
It was a step UP into the room (about 6-8 inches) which really surprised me. I was constantly tripping on it. Not all rooms had that step, but ours did.
I worked in RVA and live about 35 miles away. Have stayed at the Jefferson many times.

This actually was not a suite. I'll bet the suites at the Jefferson are huge!
