Ive no problem with that, as long as the Tariff/Tax, Fixes infrastructure......... But I know.. How do we know thats where the money goes? Another reason we need flying cars..... ;)
You can make an array of these battery cells to get whatever voltage/current rating you need. The real question is will it be cost/size/weight prohibitive to do so.
If the battery lasts for hundreds of years, you could buy the car and they rent you the battery? Rental batteries could be a big money spinner for investment companies and pension funds
ez, when the car kapoots, remove battery and place it in new car. Cars and batteries are sold seperately and the battery you have is yours forever :) or how ever long it's supposed to last.
This is what all the tech has been waiting for , a new power supply innovation can you imagine all of the things we would have with super strong extended battery life
May be theoretically possible, but how many cost, mfg and regulatory hurdles have to be overcome before they are a reality Same with the graphene battery, haven’t yet figured out how to produce the graphene at an affordable cost in needed quantities
It is not theoretical... a group in the UK has invented this... but is is tiny...and only enough power to run a watch or in the future a pacemaker....no where close to a car yet....and it uses nuclear isotopes at the tiny level is less radiation than our body puts out naturally. But large enough to run a car... how much radiation? Also, the isotope is encapsulated in the diamond. Using the refraction of the diamond to create energy with a half life of almost 6000 years... but is it possible to make with a large enough capacity to run a car??
Other issues are the Gas & Oil companies along with the Car and Power companies. These nuclear batteries are another game changer and profit killer. Elon Musk has explained this concept in a low technical way but this idea is feasible but China and BRICS countries will do it first because they have the means of production to create and promote the concept!!!! Plus, these same companies will try to stop or slow it down to control it!!! Remember when cars replaced the Horse and Buggy market back in the early 1900s, it put them out of business.. Nikolai Tesla try to do it with Free Energy and J. P. Morgan and J.D. Rockefeller killed that idea and stole his research and hid it!!! So progress is stifle again until the BRICS nations step in to push this concept into reality...😮😮😮
look. if they can get away from lithium, then i will be down for an electric car. and i know of NDB and i like the concept of them (want it in my phone more) but i would love to use a car using a NDB, but i need real world examples of this working. i wanna see it.
Power our homes off grid, flying cars ,no roads ,no power grid or telephones poles. incinerate sewage systems for fertilizer and green farming right? Wooot! 6 hour work days. make it so Musk. Clean water and balanced green earth and atmosphere. More home schooling. Anti narcissism and tyrant negativity. Lets do it. ~*~ Make it so number #1
Tesla: With vehicles that spontaneously combust and auto-drive into brick walls, doors that won't open in a crash - it makes sense to have a nuke onboard.
Elonmusk always finds a way to be on the top
When this is on the market , The government will tax our Mileage
They already do in California.
Ive no problem with that, as long as the Tariff/Tax, Fixes infrastructure......... But I know.. How do we know thats where the money goes?
Another reason we need flying cars..... ;)
Wireless power and VTOL. Nikola Tesla, 1915
Why Not? They are already talking about air and we will let them
Yah…. OK…
So, instead of plugging your car into the grid to charge your car.
You plug your car into the grid, to charge the grid.
I think not….
diamond battery right now is only providing a few volt... low power.... still far ahead to see a nuclear battery
Radium or Uranium in the negative side of the batteries with vapor deposited synthetic diamonds on the positive.
You can make an array of these battery cells to get whatever voltage/current rating you need. The real question is will it be cost/size/weight prohibitive to do so.
Maybe they can start with building nuclear beepers instead.
A beeper never requires recharge will definitely impress a lot of survivalists.
blacks need this in smoke detectors
What exactly is a "beeper"??
If the battery lasts for hundreds of years, you could buy the car and they rent you the battery? Rental batteries could be a big money spinner for investment companies and pension funds
No one will get stuck on a battery for 10 years when new technology comes up they'll replace it...and the car too LOL
ez, when the car kapoots, remove battery and place it in new car. Cars and batteries are sold seperately and the battery you have is yours forever :) or how ever long it's supposed to last.
This is a great excellent formulation for future batteries into outer space for openly travel function rather than driving on roads.
Nuclear batteries will change everything.
Yea way more than anyone realizes
This is what all the tech has been waiting for , a new power supply innovation can you imagine all of the things we would have with super strong extended battery life
I like how the film grain is simulating the radiation impacts. hahaha :)
Hope someone gets these working. I could really use a permanent energy source for my property/home in Alaska.

UK Atomic Energy Authority and University of Bristol just cracked this problem Dec 2nd 2024.

how come its not in the news?
Sodium ion might be a good battery
Kim jong un searching for the product in Amizon
Good talk guys. Let me know when they have a product.
Sorry to break it to you, but this shit is like 100 years old, and you'd need a battery the size of a house to power a single dim LED.
Yea and a computer used to be the size of a house too
Our ancestors 5000 years a go couldn't develop it smaller in size because they used mercury. Now We really advanced. 🙌
What is powering Voiger,nuculer reactors.submarines?.
Thorium power supply for Cars is what I like for Cars
We all know that, diamonds are forever! Probably it will definitely work, let’s wait and see.

All good until you have a stack...

and theory is theory, we need some results and stuff shown that works.
You just drag the video out
Just put it in your phone so u dont need to charge it
crap we’re turning into fallout 4 😂
No energy density bogus
EM didnt start tesla.
so many applications
still in the "IF" stage

As usual it been around for a while before Elon. They currently are like a watch battery. Ahhh not going to happen in our life times for transport.
Tesla: With vehicles that spontaneously combust and auto-drive into brick walls, doors that won't open in a crash -
it makes sense to have a nuke onboard.
Tell me you have no idea how nuclear reactions work without telling me you have no idea how nuclear reactions work, lol.
Well, not a nuke... but fissible material being scattered around is no bueno.
It’s only what Edison did, so what’s new. Swan invented the lightbulb, Tesla the alternator, polyphase motor, etc. think it’s called business
what is this, fallout?
Nuclear diamond battery bullet trains and transport blimps
Elon will never make it work and be safe.
No one will.
Impossible, even if the product is perfect some human will find a way to F it up
That's why this technology will be only for the elites, not monkeys.
fallout
Elon Musk did not start Tesla, he bought it…
nuke batteries are weak , or hazards .
Elon is 100% open source is he not? He doesn't patent anything.
Elon loves to steal ideas
Not steal. Borrow and actually produce. He brings to market what nobody else does.
Another idea / invention that Elon Musk stole from other people who did the work/research/development.
almost everything is stolen
Who
What are your pronouns.?
just not as interesting as the current business model ...
Comes late, and now he will pay the Chinese patents of the nuclear bateries
It would be dangerous
Typical AI generated trash.
