Thanks a lot!! I freaked out this morning when the machine did not have any pressure. Since the pump managed to pump water for the fresh water outlet I figured it must be blocked somehow. Your tip solved it. It was clogged behind the solenoid. The machine is 15 years old and I've never had this part clogged before.
Massively helpful video. I was all ready to pack my Silvia off for a pricey repair but after finding your clip and following your instructions, water is coming through the grouphead nicely once more. Thanks very much.
Had the same symptoms and took off solenoid, which hasn't been clogged but just removing it and assembling it did loosen I guess previously stuck solenoid. I need to mention that I did not use machine for a couple of months which did made the solenoid stuck in the first place. Just my 2 cents....
Thanks a lot. Could fix it with your perfect explanation in 20 minutes. Issue was rest from milk which blocked the whole. I will buy milk frother to avoid this issue again.
thanks very much. great video. i have had to repeat this every 2 months or so... any idea why? i am using bottled water. and the stuff that clogs looks whiteish... calcium maybe?

Cleaning the flow restrictor took my Silvia Pro's water debit from barely over 5 to almost 7 ml/s. Thanks for this!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This solved my problem of my used machine I bought with a super slow drip of water pressure!
Hugely Grateful for this. Thought the pump was shot....it was fine.
Thank you so much! I used a toothpick to get the particles out of the top.
This saved my day! 🤗🎉 Thanks a lot!
Thank you Sir , that was indeed my problem, fine calcium silt blocking the hole to the piston.

you're a legend
That first black piece doesn't want to come off and I don't want to break it. Hardly had the machine a couple weeks and it's already blocked
Thanks a lot - it fixed my problem
The black plastic piece will not come off on mine. It must be stripped.
