Cheers mate. I think the USB port testing was misguided as the controller was trying to go wireless but either way replacing the chip was still the right call. The things we learn along the way ay!

Maybe not. I think your first problem is to get power back on the sockets.
Mine has the same problem got power no sync tho I've tried a bunch of cords it turns on and gone to a connect controller
