The landowner said correctly, pls find below, you will understand:
here Area = 72 ft x 31 ft = 2,232 sq ft
To convert in cents = 2,232 / 435.6 = 5.123 cents
1 square link = 1 lnk × 1 lnk ≡ 0.66 ft × 0.66 ft
so 1 sq lnk = 0.4356 sq ft = 0.4356 / 435.6 = 0.001 cents
and
1 cent = 1000.6 sq link
your area = 5.123 ( 5 + 0.123 ) cents = 5 cents + ( 0.123 x 1000.6 sq link ) = 5 cents 123 sq link

నేను ఒక గుంట నర (1.1/2) ప్లాట్ కొన్నాను.అది గొలుసుతో కొలిచాడు.
అదే ప్లాట్ వేరే వ్యక్తి టేపుతో కొలిచాడు చుట్టు కొలత ఇలా వుంది. AC-BD 36.6,36.6/AB-CD 41,42 వుంది అంటే 168 గజాలు ( 1 గుంట 37 పైసలు వుందన్నాడు)
ఏది నమ్మాలో అర్థం కావడం లేదు.

To calculate land area in cents, you need to have the dimensions of the land in either feet or meters ( Based on the land size/dimension) and then convert them to cents
one cent is approximately *435.6 square feet* OR
one cent is *40.47 square meters* OR
one cent also equals *48.4 square yards*
(here 9 square feet equal one square yard)
you need to multiply the number of square yards by 9 (i.e. 48.4 x 9 = 435.6 square feet) to convert one cent to square feet.
