We directly calculate site which have different measures . We have to add opposite side lengths then divide by 2. We get average opposite side lenth. Now we use lenth and width formula

It's untechnical as well as non technical.
The area will be dangerously incorrect if it's more irregular.

I explained only the real-time land shapes, in fact, the sides will have more slides/heights(ఎత్తు పల్లాలు) in real lands which I did not cover here and since circle type real-time lands are very rare, so I have not included in this video, any way to calculate Circle Area = π r2 (r = Radius) = 3.14159 × (r × r)

We can use Heron's Formula to determine the area of a triangle when given the lengths of each side. If you have a very thin triangle, one where two of the sides approximately equal and the third side is much shorter, a direct implementation of Heron's formula may not be accurate. whereas ½(base x height) works for all triangles, and I feel real-time surveyors may not use Heron's Formula.

In Example 3, the offset T3 doesn't appear to be at right angle to AD.
In the method explained by you, so many right angles are to be constructed. Cross Staff is not accurate enough and theodolite is too much.
It's advisable to split the field into triangles and use Heron's formula for area calculation.

I'd done my three-year diploma in Civil Engineering in 1963.
I beg your pardon sir. Heron's formula holds good for any triangle whatever.
With the advent of Electronic Calculators, calculating square root of any number became a breeze.
And with Programmable Scientific Calculators much labour is saved in finding a root.
I've been using programmable scientific graphing calculators for surveying and divisioning fields since 1985.
I've been using AutoCad for printing the surveyed field.
I used excellent theodolites like WILD T2 but have never used a Total Station.
Even if we have theodolites and total stations, necessity hardly arises of using them for fields.

Area = 41.005 x 21.1 = 865.20 sq ft
