Realistic mode gameplay improves significantly starting at tier 4.3. At lower tiers its slow gameplay. Mastering rolling while aiming is crucial, as rudder control with mouse aiming can lead to awkward angles and bad placing. Few fighters can effectively engage in dogfights; others should rely on speed like p-51s. Also flight models are extremely vulnerable to damage in rb, so any damage to engine or cooling is rtb. Shoot if the enemy is between 800-500 meters (longer shoots are better but harder and closer ones easy to evade). and make burst around half to a second. might help you
