- The origin of the frenzied flame was in the shadowlands all along in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. There are many signs that indicate the flame of frenzy would have had to have been originated here due to environmental storytelling and the presence of Midra and Metyr.

If Ymir can birth a finger creeper. I do think Midra/Nanaya can too and it's possible that they are the one who hatched the three finger because in the room before the boss room... There is a trace of a hatched egg lying around.
And I think the Nox were responsible for Metyr's lost connection too. Have you noticed that after Metyr fell down, a black hole form atop of her. And possibly teleport her away. I think that's how the two fingers managed to escape from dangers. But if it was harmed by finger slayer blade... Well that's another story.
Meat is unstoppable in the shadow lands. Nice video and theory presentation
@@spencerlivdahl6931 I am a meat man
I'm pretty sure the torch was there child. I know she looks pregnant in the chair kinda. But I think the child was born but died and the flame was left. She attached the flame and his spine for what ever reasons. It would also make sense why it says a man born and failed to become the lord of frenzy. Her and midra knew what he woulda became. That's just my thoughts tho great video!
@@Reaper67348 that’s an awesome idea. I have always wondered why they hinted at her being pregnant
@@tbice I've done alot of research on this guy been low key obessed due to most my builds being madness 😆 🤣 but ya I feel like that's why midra held on to his sanity. She's holding her stomach in the painting and she has a slight like bulge in her stomach on the chair good Ole from soft leaving it in the air for speculation lol
@@Reaper67348 when the trailer first released on that. I thought it was gonna be tied to Marika’s original sin showing her pull the golden hair out but haven’t found anything to tie any of that all together.
Thing is Midra doesn't show any signs of being grasped by the three fingers
People forget this detail so quickly. I think the 3 fingers were created here, by Nanaya, because we find fingers under a tarp in Midra's Manse.
I definitely think you could interpret how his flesh looks down his spine and on the side of his face as long ago burns from the 3 fingers. They definitely point out that it’s different from the rest of his rotting skin. Most easy to see during the cutscene prior to him pulling the sword out and transforming.
The data mined head of his has the burned fingerprints on it.
And he ate the swollen grapes that were touched by the three fingers brought to him by the aging untouchables.
@@tulpaart8462 awesome. Was wondering this but hadn’t looked at it yet.
Great vidoe. Thank you
@@SirSaintMatt absolutely. Was fun reading up on everything
Good video..keep it comming.
Its really interesting and can see it happening
im fairly sure nenya was his wife, and that spine was, well, his child who died in birth. the 'this is all the remains of him' comes from that fact that that spine is all that remains of midra, after he was sentenced to the brutal torture he was forced to face. overall though good video! hope to see more stuff from you man!
@@zitochigames258 absolutely, love those ideas as well. I was trying to figure out if that was related to marikas godhood at all as the trailer made it look like she was taking the golden strands from a womb
Never seen a newborn that massive to have a spine like that. Also Midra clearly has a spine. What is this stupid headcanon?
@@danielrobinson7872 the 'all the remains of midra' is because its of midras bloodline, not his actual spine lol i think you misunderstood what i said. 'torch made by attaching a dying flame of frenzy to a small spinal column.' this is directly from the description, and in the painting of midra and nenya we can see that she is pregnant, so its pretty safe to assume from there
@@tbice hey appreciate a response! :) and honestly the marika thing is really really fuzzy to me, im still working it out myself lol
nice vid! the background audio pausing felt pretty disruptive though, try slowly fading out a song when it ends or let the new song start up at the end of the previous to make it a bit more seemless
I completely agree. Just had little time and I knew if I didn’t publish it. I never would
Wasnt shabiri a failed lord??
@@OMGitsTerasu Shabriri has popped up a few times in the lore. Think of him like an Envoy for the Frenzied Flame that inhabits different vessels that have reached their breaking point in one way or another.
