I still have the 65 825 mini led set I got in 2020. I got the Sony 75 Z9K because of it but it was 6k more. The Sony is so much better except for minor blooming, but it should be for the money. Maybe you should try another one and see how it does.
There appears to be a serious panel lottery for this TV, which is a shame because i have seen other reviews of the 2024 model and the banding wasn't present on those. 😔
Not doing a return? Have the 75” and it’s been solid so far.
I'm getting the Bravia 9. I kind of regret that decision, but it'll be ok. I just have this weird thing about getting replacement tvs. I'd rather just see something else once a TV fails me.

Thanks for the video Michelle, I've noticed your video has been stolen by the "Awesome Tech Gaming Pro" channel. He runs 2 channels, Awesome Tech Gaming Pro and Tech Gaming Villa.
To resolve this issue, you should go into your youtube dashboard and submit to youtube a copyright claim/removal request. I've helped multiple youtubers who also had their video stolen by the same youtube channel before and they were eventually removed.
thanks for letting me know. I used to issue copyright strikes on people but it's never done anything. Sadly it's the world we live in. I'm always surprised people would steal my poorly done videos. LOL.
@@MichelleAlexandria-EM You're most welcome. From what I'm aware, the previous 2 youtubers who I've warned as well, gave that youtuber a strike for stealing their content. If you sent in a strike, it might just deal a finishing blow on his channel. TH-cam removes channels which have 3 strikes.

you made the right choice by getting the bravia 9 cause so far the picture quality does not look good on the qm8 it may be brighter but what good is the brightness if the picture quality is shitty? lol

Yeah that TV has a terrible panel, the banding is clearly noticeable. Will you get another TCL QM8?
yeah, usually, I don't notice banding so don't do DSE tests. But here it's all over the screen in some content. So bad I had to turn it off.
This looks like the 2023 model and not 2024 model. You should take look when its made.
it's a tv, how is it supposed to look different. It's the 2024 model.
@@MichelleAlexandria-EM because here in europe i wanted to buy one but the model name is the same as 2023 so ask and the 2024 model is same model but it called with max. And i know the 2023 model had bad banding and 2024 dusnt
@@Indomikeyyy yeah I think the way TCL names TVs is stupid. Here in the states they've used the TCL QM8 name for the last 3 years.
@Indomikeyyy The model number for 2023 is QM850 and 2024 is QM851, they will look identical but the internals have changed
