I have a L3 750 gsxr. It’s got -1+2 gearing. Had m4, tuned, some tb work done, esc. My top peed gps is 150. I don’t have the healer so my bike is showing 167 when gps is showing 150. But it’s due to my gearing. I may not have the top end most bikes have. My take off power is insane. I hurt feelings from red lights. I’ve jumped out on many liter bikes, few 1300s, and more big bikes. Granted they come around when we get to 150. They go past me like I’m sitting still. But they’re always shocked to see a little 750 perform that way. Tuning and gearing a 750 is one of the funniest bikes to ride.

Your 600 doesn’t have the power to redline in 6th gear, no 600’s do with stock gearing.
600’s do top speed runs in 5th gear with stock gearing.
    155 is all for a Gsxr600. Many 600’s don’t even reach that.
750’s do only 10mph more at 165 topped out.

I have an 08 which is a way lighter frame by a substantial amount I have hot cams I have a dyno tune, I weigh 151lbs the bike is perfect good tires maintenance yadda yadda I've banged rev limiter in 6th from Seattle to idaho on many wide open stretches and 183mph is its "top speed" GPS on my phone and the body that was with me 157 max, as we all know the speedo is always off. There is not one single 600 ss bike that folsom the factory that can break 180mph that's a fucking lie all day. We are not litew bikes idc what your speedo says they are between 8% to 10+% off

That's the real speed, 180 something is max gear runout potential

I see. I thought maybe the website was incorrect because there is no way 184 mph was feasible. Thanks for the info.

@@MotoBeto82 no problem, now you know your actual speed you can choose a lower gear setup to improve acceleration and not lose top speed👍

How much was the speedo off from factory? Did the speedo healer remove the speed limiter?

It's been a little while, but if I remember correctly it was right around $100. No, it doesn't remove the speed limiter, you would need something like FlashTune to do something like that. Plus, I don't think GSXR 600's have speed limiters (could be wrong). The speedo healer just helps you calibrate your speedo so it will show a true speed. Out of the factory, most motorcycles have inaccuracies. Sometimes up to 10%. So your speedo might show you are going faster than you really are. Also, if you change your gearing. Either go up or down in teeth on your sprockets, this will change the actual speed that you are going at certain revs. So a speedo healer will help correct for that.
