After Center and Aberration, I was worried about Extinction. They did a good job with the map (in terms of looks). I hope ragnarok, crystal isles, and fjordur get the same glow up.
im hoping with the combat it will be more like monster hunter as that uses a similar combat but with being able to ride the monsters (dinos) and fight that way too having people join in to hint like in monster hunter so your able to go face up with things without feeling useless off your mount
They said its gonna be a souls like combat system so if you want a trial I would suggest conan since it's combat is soulslike and is the most similar to ark

Me and my friends have totally skipped Ark Ascended, I'm not sure why WildCard's taking their sweet time to re-release remastered maps from Evolved, Extinction? Genesis? We've played them all years ago in Evolved and yet you're saying they will be releasing these maps next year on Ascended? Like what's taking them this long to re release all these maps? Do these remastered maps offer anything new aside from the upgraded visuals and some quality of life improvements? Otherwise it's the same adventure going into those maps to their final bosses.

The Bob's Tall Tales DLC is pretty good IMO. Some of the new stuff like the zeppelin is pretty cool. I've enjoyed Ascended. The graphics upgrade was worth it. If you have the hardware to run it
You and your friends are missing out then. Yeah it wasn't worth it in the start but at this point the game is on sale right now and is totally worth it. It looks beautiful alot of quality of life things are added that will make you not want to go back to ASE and the Bob Tall Tales stuff is cool and fun to use in my opinion.
Honestly, I don't care about ARK 2, judging by how the remaster is going of ASA I wonder if my pc would even run ARK2, they are bringing in Souls-like elements e.g. the fighting, I for one don't like souls games or souls-like games and it is not just the next to impossible way of progressing unless you are a supper hardcore-always-playing-perma-death gamer, but even the souls-like games are difficult to get going in and I don't like the way you fight (please take note I am talking for myself) and as a pve player in ASE and ASA I just don't see how it's going to be fun for the most of the pve base. For PVP players ARK2 might just be heaven sent, and once ASA loose their complete pvp base players I am pretty sure the game are not going to get the support (ASA that is) it needs. Just my 2cents about it. People are going to attack me about it and it's fine, nothing wrong with people who love souls like games, glad someone can enjoy it, in fact there are too little games for that class of gamers and they do need more dinos in their lives for sure. I am just not going to play it no matter how good they look and how well the story is written ( and damn Souls games looks so good and have such good stories) and I think that the hardcore ARK pve'er must take a good look and watch some gameplay first (once game is out) before buying it instead of buying it and then flood the social media of how disappointed they are with the game.

I am straight up unable to play on extinction, aberration, the center, and usually can't play on scorched earth either. I reduced my mods to less than one page of mods. This was advertised for series s it should be able to run on series s and it's bullshit I paid full price for this game as well as bobs tall tales only to not be able to play whenever I want and instead only getting to play sometimes unless i wanna just boredly play on the island forever
