He did it with Dortmund, and he left there with credentials, and his personality fits the culture of Liverpool and the club. Now, what makes things different is the fact that the next manager of Liverpool will have less to do than Klopp had to when he arrived; lots has changed at Liverpool now: a new training centre, a bigger stadium and a healthy culture with leaders all over the pitch and a more youthful squad overall. Xabi Alonso would be a risk with it being so early in his career but he will certainly have better foundations than he had joining Leverkusen.
