Also completed the whole game in just a week, I can be a fast coder if I have the motivation to work on the project-
Fun fact: This game uses the legacy version of the UNDERTALE THANATOS story
The sprites used come from that version as well
So I guess you could also call this game as Legacy UT Thanatos lol

@@ArtemDalaliants Nope. In the official dusttale he is referred to as Murder Sans (though the creator doesn’t really care if people call him dust). Essentially after so many years in the community murder is used for canon dusttale and dust for most else.

This actually looks sick, its got this Ari's vibe to it that was surprisingly implemented balanced, and well! Not Dusttrust like.
I loved that reference to Aude's drawings where Pap is sitted on the king's throne
I felt so bad for Papyrus at the end. Poor dude. His inner Papyrus just wanted to look cool.

It literally feels like a undertale battle without being extremely impossible but not being too easy meanwhile he still feels like Papyrus
Let's put Papyrus personality aside.
How tf anybody at that point in his place (including Papyrus himself) wouldn't be wildly raging and feel others kind of emotions after getting striked down, at THAT important moment, SO ridiculously, after EVERYTHING he gone through. Ye, goofy funny, but like it's not even funny from that perspective, it's actually disappointing to say the least.
Imagine Papyrus when human stabs his head, instead of being pretty complaining but still pretty passive, shouting and cursing at human even more intensive and harder per every hit, and then his scream gets interrupted by Papyrus turning into dust.
i just came across your stuff, and i wanted to say that your spritework is GORGEOUS. like, god DAMN!!! and don't get me STARTED on the extra vfx, or the dialogue, or your creative spin on old attacks. (alright, i love the parallel to asgore's trident attack at 3:54).
seriously, this is awesome. genuinely an instant sub and i can't wait to see whatever you do next!! especially original stuff, if that's what you're headed toward :D!!!

I am a firm believer that Papyrus would, and should always win in Dustbelief, but man if this isn't a cool fight, props for all the work put into it!
just beat this, i like how the attacks are pretty difficult, but reasonable compared to a lot of other fangames, good work!
This might just be coincidence, but seeing how the textbox obscures Frisk in that particular moment, I feel like Papyrus' monologue starting from 1:44 is him talking to the Player (aka us) instead of Frisk/Chara. Or both, it honestly fits in both situations considering Frisk and the Player are the same person, technically.

I don't think dustbelief would go and grab the souls because remember the reason why murder didn't use the 6 souls is because he already knew what happened cuz he had seen us fighting omega flowey and then sans gained that knowledge and papyrus did the same because he gained his "plot memories"
did papyrus ever even get those memories? from what I can find he just goes mad and starts seeing a phantom sans who tells him to kill people

In canon story he gained his brother's visions on the timelines of UT so yeah dustbelief would gain the ability to know that using the souls will be bad.
Glad you made it accurate to papyrus’s lore and didn’t make him inflict KR damage. It’s also a nice touch that sans doesn’t inflict KR either since he is being manifested by papyrus’s magic.
