Yes most issues with keto bread are caused by the inaccurate use of psyllium husks. There's a h7ge difference with whole psyllium husks and preground psyllium powder. If using preground psyllium powder, only 1 to 2 tsp is required as it is very concentrated. Sorry, I am not familiar with air fryer but have received feedback that it's doable. Also, please do not substitute the ingredients as keto bread is complicated and requires lots of experimentation before getting it right.
It's always good to have options on the base ingredient of your wonderful keto loaves. Almond flour is good, but you can overdo it. Have you considered using gram flour (chickpea flour - naturally gluten-free ) in your bread recipes?
Thanks! Chickpea flour is good, but due to its high carb content, it's not considered low carb or keto friendly so that's why I have not worked with it yet 🙏
I made this yesterday and unfortunately it looked fantastic (rose amazingly) but had a massive hole with most of the contents fallen to the bottom inside. I followed everything meticulously and made sure my batter looked identical to yours. Any suggestions? I cut it up and baked the soggy parts in my airfryer and I guess that will be edible, so not a total waste. I really appreciate your input! 🙌

air fryer is ok, mine worked well, I think maybe it's your psyllium, diffrent brands have diffrent result, I think you should reduce the amount of your psyllium and reduce the liquid.

I don't know why all my keto attempts result in dense and moist breads. Even the ones with yeast. What am I missing, is my oven not good, is there a common mistake I am making in all my keto bread attempts? Tho it is keto, this bread stands by itself as a legit bread. Taste amazing and makes the best sandwiches: PB&J, ham, grilled cheese etc… or simply with butter. It has a kind of multi cereal bread taste. Very good and my kids adores it.

You mentioned that the total carb for this bread is 4.9 grams. Is that for the whole loaf? And why on the description says 0 carbs?

I have a convect oven so it doesn't have a bottom rack with a heating element just above it. Will this recipe work in a convect oven?

Unfortunately this isn't considered vegan due to the egg whites, but can be considered vegetarian.
