Dude, what is that rattle sound that starts at 9:03? Right before you flip to track mode. I have the same sound and it's driving me bat sh*t crazy! I did have a rattle which was my exhaust hitting the Halo crossmember. I had to get some thick washers from McMaster Carr to space it down another .20" and that took care of it. In untuned cars the car goes into Cat warm up mode which dumps extra fuel and retards timing. That is why camaros sound loud on startup until warms up a little.

I have a manual so I did not have them. But I am guessing these can be disabled via a tune.
Keep them plugged in and tucked away. Or like he said , have it tuned out
I’m planning on doing this, I saw that awe makes a simulator bracket for the valves, borla does have an x/mid pipe that keeps the afm working however it’s double the price, 1k instead of 500, the awe afm simulator is $35 which to me is the cost effective fix, then you just zip tie them out of the way.
@@ApexPilot Nice thanks!!
I liked the Beavis and Butthesd 🤣
Can you post a link for the clamps you used?
I updated the video with rockauto links
@@EssMotorsports Awesome thanks bro!!! Just got mine!! Can't wait to get them on!!
U have to use the ones speed engineering provides for the collector. Not enough room for the walker clamps
@@EssMotorsports how good are those clamps you got are they leaking at all?
And how about the ones at the collector any leaks
Did you tune for the Headers?
I am working on that right now with HP Tuners! Surprisingly it has not lit the CEL but codes are pending. Im trying to figure out what codes I need to turn off specifically.
@@EssMotorsports well your going to be lean. Also get an AFR gauge. When you get the mixture tuned you will also turn off the down streams.
Yeah I have a AFR gauge installed just can't tune/drive right now. Actually going to go snowmobiling instead today! Right now I am adjusting easy stuff.
Any advice on what specific things to look at besides MAF and VVE?
I'm adjusting fans, catalytic warm up mode, speed limiter? I'm really curious where to set my PE pedal value and what rpm to bring in PE.
Would be nice if these install videos would show the actual informative parts.
Got questions? What's missing?
What bolts did you use to install the headers?
ARP 134-1103, link is in the description as well. Might be cheaper from summit instead of amazon though.
@@EssMotorsports cool thanks bro!!
Man same wires to lol
Once you got everything done when you did your 1st datalog was the car lean at all? I'm asking because I'm not able to get my car tuned yet but I wanted to drive it until I can get it tuned. I have basically the same mods lt 2 intake manifold long tube Headers x pipe cold air intake
Before u do any pulls it would be best to have a wideband gauge connected to make sure u don't have any issues with install. That being said I added the most fuel down low or at low rpm high load. U should be fine putting around town. The 95mm tb changed things the most
@@EssMotorsports cool thank you!!!!
Looking to add headers and the x pipe from speed engineering as well , how’s the dual mode exhaust ? Does it do it’s job keeping it in stealth and track ?
The dual mode works just the same as if it were stock. It does a good job quieting it down in tour mode so u can be sneaky! And in track it is LOUD! Check out my other video speed engineering update I have exhaust clips of both track and Stealth modes.
@@EssMotorsports gotcha brotha u got insta by any chance ?
@@jjseizdos8663 yep its just essmotorsports

Question after the install my rear view camera and heated seats fuse keeps blowing. I have the afm still attached
That does not sound good. Sounds like a short. I would check that your wire harness on the passenger side is not touching the headers and burning through. That harness was close to begin with. I showed it in the video where i wrapped it in heat protective wrap.
@@EssMotorsports alright I have to check thank you
@@EssMotorsports it was that exact harness
@@ChevyTrevy did it burn through?
@@EssMotorsports yes I think one wire got exposed
I’m the first one here, yay!
You didn’t install anything the entire video
Maybe you shouldn't skip through and u would see the process...
Excellent choice.
Did you completely remove your rear 02 sensors?
Yes rear sensors are gone, I just sealed up connectors with BIG heatshrink and tucked them up and zip tied.
How many band clamps did you put?
8 of the 3" and 2 of the 2.75"
