Follow the Baby Chimpanzees with their Mother - Part 42

Location: Burgers' Zoo, Arnhem - The Netherlands.
On Saturday, September 30, 2023, the world-famous chimpanzee Tushi gave birth to a young one. The agile 31-year-old great ape achieved world fame at Royal Burgers' Zoo when she knocked a filming drone out of the air with a stick on April 10, 2015.
On Sunday, October 29, 2023, female chimpanzee Laura gave birth to a young one in Burgers' Zoo. Laura came to Arnhem from the Danish zoo of Aalborg on December 7, 2022. Very quickly after her step-by-step introduction, she turned out to be pregnant. Laura is a chimpanzee of the West African subspecies that is critically endangered in the wild.
