I feel ya on that man, this one got my gears turning. I might have to make a McMaster-Carr order soon. Also I wondered if shaving the diameters down on the wheels would help reduce the amount of cut-out on the deck..

If the two bits were a single piece, soldered perhaps, there would be no need for all the extra hardware to keep the wheels squared off, better integrity. Looks like we have a future video to look forward to!
Should just use 5/16 threaded rod instead of the eyelets and use wire clamps to hold it to the deck might need four clamps per axle just to make sure it holds. Also a deck with a bigger kick in the tail would help with landing the kick flip because of it being so low. Great video by the way
Drill holes for the trucks, so you can top mount the truck plate dropped down to the bottom of the board and then mount the axel afterwards. Sanwhiched, like on some longboards 😉 that gets you pretty low.
Need a greater edge distance for the hardware for better structural stability. A single cross bar with two u brackets holding it in place and you could have hardware spaced roughly the same as regular trucks.
If you want it to go all the way across get 5/8 all thread and use u bolts to hold them on.. you can use double nuts to set where the wheel sits on the inside...
Alright boys I bet 2 pieces of ready rod going across the whole bottom so that they are 1 piece between the front and back wheel sets, fastened in with 2 flat pieces of metal through the existing hardware holes. You might want to try to make a small nose/tail bump on the bottom just to give you a little more height for the pop. Great hack you're on the right track!
I feel like it’s breaking because where the wheels are on the low rider skateboard it makes nose, the middle of the body and the tail make a basically a pinpoint location like squeezing the structural integrity of the nose & the tail to the body making a thinner place so when you land on you’re basically focusing the board
Should have just used all thead... Like $8 for 36" or something... Cut it for axles, three nuts pr side (two on inside to lock into place),and conduit style fasteners to attach to board!! 😉
You guys build your own boards, I think your best bet would be to put bars through the board itself for trucks while making a new board and build the plys around it maybe with a fiberglass sheet also for durability in the board before you finish all the layers. If you do this you have to shout me out 😂
You need to refine your idea a few times, imagining all of the things that can go wrong before actually building it. Once you refine your idea a few times you'll realize there aren't many things that can go wrong. Another important thing... USE THE PROPER TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT! Eye injuries are no joke and can ruin your vision for the rest of your life so use protective eyewear especially when you are working around glowing hot shards and sparks of metal like that. Vice grips should never be used to fasten a six point nut so use a six point socket. For structure I recommend using stainless steel nuts, bolts, screws, etc. whenever possible as opposed to normal steel with that bluish zinc coating. Stainless steel is non-corrosive and stronger. For something as thin as a skateboard, and even though it's made of maple plywood which is a very strong wood, I would never countersink a screw like that, especially a weight bearing area like that. Instead I would have used large flat washers on both sides of the deck. I've really only countersunk for projects in which the wood is hardwood and at least 3/4" in width. Or if I'm building out of 2x4 or some larger lumber. Another tip. If you use a drill instead of an impact driver you change the torque settings for the best fasten without ruining the wood. Remember wood is very porous and at a microscopic level is filled with many holes. It is nowhere near the strength of most construction metals. An impact driver is outputting all of its torque always. Anyway in my opinion, the way the board was sent to you is probably the best iteration, and I would say you could cut the "mud guards" so to speak off of the top, however they appear to be connected to the axle, not to mention if you try to work around this by cutting only to the point where the axle isn't getting cut off, then you are left with sharp metal sticking out. And even if you filed it smooth would still most likely cut you in the event of a fall. In other words, there is a reason why after all these decades the four holes on a skateboard are in the center. Just my two cents.
Man, I've been trying to teach my border collie to skate for a while, all he wants to do is put his harness on, and pull me on the board like he's a sled dog. And you know how fast they are....
These videos are great to pass the time at work thank y’all for the fresh video feed Honestly my brother was hefty but skated like a Mac I doubt he could have road that
Need to just get an actual skateboard truck axle (no hanger) and have JD's dad weld it onto a piece of appropriate sized diamond plate and drill 4 holes in it.

This video is pleasing in all the ways the original version of that board was not. So glad it was fixed.

Hey braille, I sprained my ankle a few weeks ago, I was wondering how long you should wait before doing flip tricks and stuff like that
It really depends on how it feels, is it still tender? The last thing you want to do it re injure it
Depends on how bad it is. I sprained ankle once and could do flip tricks with the sprained foot only like 6 months after the injury
I love you guys been here since your 7th video. Thank you for all the inspiration, content, rad skating, and laughs. FIST TRYYY

I really like the idea of a slammed board. I could totally picture people cruising around on these if they became a fully fleshed out product.
Piece of 3/8 steel channel iron bolted to the deck, and a threaded rod welded to it, done.
who else watch this guy every time he posts
Do this with one of the strong boards like a carbon fiber, or fiberglass board. It might hold up better
Wow great idea!
did you use a hack saw?

4 wheel independent steering. 😆
I would definitely buy a legit "LowRider" board!
Simon Que Si!✌️😎
It should have softer 87a 52mm wheels for cruising "Low & Slow"!
I loveeee yo brailleeeee
Thanks
Man, I've been trying to teach my border collie to skate for a while, all he wants to do is put his harness on, and pull me on the board like he's a sled dog. And you know how fast they are....
So they have threaded bolt that you can cut to length instead of the eye bolts then just find something to attach it to the board...
3:00 you couldn't find a piece of all-thread?
This was definitely an improvement but the design needs more work. Braille lowrider boards coming soon.
should have used a U-bolt for the "lock in" on the axel
wider wheelbase would be the ultimate hack you'd likely be able to pop it more.
“Youuuu make it,Weeeee repeat it!!!”
You need all thread or threaded rod.
Hmmmm 🤔
5/16 -24! the standard truck thread pitch and diameter :)
Put bigger wheels on so it can be ridden upside down as well as right side up
I would buy this, but it gotta have braille made on it
I wish I had my original version. It was close to this.
How about attaching it on top of a board?
Can you do two wheel skateboard?
You should have kept the wheel arches to avoid wheel bite
Game of skate where two people are on one board and have to land back on the board together.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CAMBER!!!

It’s called a drop through longboard. They do ones with kick tails
Even shorter 33inch long ones
"send us a lowrider board!" I really hope some mechanic here will take it upon themselves to fit a skateboard with hydraulic car suspension!
Bro said “jaws mouth harp”😂
You should definitely go back to home depot and revisit this idea.
3D print a baseplate that is angled correctly and sand down some bushings to create the worlds lowest/inverted truck
Just put a full iron plate, where all the screws are!
But u need to to find a plate which is no too thik.
And there will be much more srews then.
Go Blu🎉
Need to just get an actual skateboard truck axle (no hanger) and have JD's dad weld it onto a piece of appropriate sized diamond plate and drill 4 holes in it.
Genius level right there
The real ⛽️
Bro. A piece of "All-Thread" could span the whole board like an axle.
U should try use a little bigger wheel

Ah ha, thanks
Just cut the weels protections if you dont like it
And use the original trucks
