- Oops! Trooper dates are wrong! He was born in 2008 and lived 13 1/2 years. He died in 2021....
Here it is - Finally! Take a tour of our 2019 Ford Transit 250. We built this van over a 5 month period from May 2020 to October 2020. We moved out of state and have been getting settled in our new community, so it's taken a while to get this done. Enjoy and please leave us questions or comments!
Thanks
I think you both did a great job on your van. I love that you both are so into the same thing. Enjoy.
Thanks for watching! The van is really awesome, but we'll be doing a video on some of the things we might do differently next time.
Good you spoke about the comfort of driving the Ford for your height as I am tall and find the gas pedal to the seat is not often long enough.
A lot of work and fold out tables (that's a good thing).... you two did it! Enjoyed all the video's on the built ------- Happy Trails, keep on rolling.
AWESOME !
Thanks for watching!!
Waiting for the Buffalo Roundup vids!!
Excellent Job you young folks🤣......
Thanks! I look good for 92 years old!!

Absolutely love it. Fantastic
We love ❤️ when we hear from you. Hope you’re doing well!
Thanks for that one! Been waiting a long time for the final product. Great work you two.
Very nice van!
Thank you!
Nice! Looking forward to more videos!
Perhaps in a future video talk about weight of build vs GVWR? Any steps taken to reduce or manage build weight?
Awesome thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching!
Great Video...curious to know what tires and size you put on it. How have they done for you since?
Hi Desmond and Jeanne, I just found this video and it is great. You did a fantastic job on both your van and
this video.
Mary and I loved meeting y'all last summer and may have an opportunity this summer to stop by and say hello if you are home.

Just give us a holler!!
Our plans are to be in Jackson next Wednesday afternoon. We are doing a rafting trip with our daughter, son in law, and granddaughters on that morning. If you are home and not too busy, we may "give you a holler".
I loved your last video about whether or not this van was too big to park. Now that I've seen the completed van, I have to ask, have you noticed any issues with departure angles on steep driveways or light off roading with the extended length? I'm ready to commit to a Ford transit, and I'm probably going to stick with the regular long body but I really want the extended length but the fear of scratching up the back end is preventing me from fully committing. Also, have you been keeping track of your MPG numbers?
Hi! No problem with departure angle at all. If it's really steep I always take it at an angle to crawl down and avoid scraping. We usually get about 14.5 mpg. Take care!
@@donttradeyears6 thank you so much for replying! I just placed my ordered for the extended length trail edition. Looking forward to it!
Viagens seguras!!

How about a Bills of material lists for all parts use on your Van built!
We are planning a short video on the van build cost. Not sure if it will be specific to how many feet of wire, etc but we'll try to be fairly specific! Thanks!!
Very nice build! May I ask how tall you are? I saw you lay down sideways in your earlier video when you were test driving the Transit.
I'm 6' 1". With shoes on there's still about 3 plus inches of clear headroom
You guys must be very happy with your build. An out standing job. Planning on buying a new transit soon. Thinking of A.W.D. duelie. But I may delite one of those. Do you like the size?
Thank you! We do really love it, but we live in snow country and are considering an awd also!
