He must come forward to occupy the public space where people like Sukumar Azhikode snd others had occupied earlier to enrichm the real culture of Kerala.

Yet another excellent sharing of knowledge from #MSP...that clarity and vibrancy of thoughts must be acknowledged and discussed further for reaching into more acceptable or comprehensive historical lessons and facts. Great job, #MSP

Harappan culture is Pakistani heritage, not Indian, look at the map.
India as region is not the same as India the state.
Stick with your history, and stop repeating lies.
This historian has recognise numerous times that national history is different from historical sense of nationhood, you can't recognise facts then continue to spread lies.
Harappa is part of Pakistani heritage.

      Harappa is south asian heritage

    • @youknow6968

@@krishnavishwakarma1969 how is it south Indian heritage? Are you people mad.
History belongs to the land and it's people.
Primary history belongs to the people of Pakistan, so it's Pakistani history.
Everyone else can make secondary claims, but they're distance ancient memories, nothing more.
Otherwise we're all Africans, and africa belongs to all, that'd be just silly, primary African identity belongs to the people of africa, everyone can only claim distance African linkages.

I bought the book with great hope. Would rate it as average. Manu Pillai's aim is to sensationalize with juicy tidbits about already known personalities, than bringing out real truth. No newness in narrative. Quoting anti-national like Romila Thapar, Wendy Doniger, ... who have zero knowledge of Sanskrit itself is a bad choice. Manu has made no effort to understand the true spirit of works of great poets such as Kalidasa, and uses same second hand understanding of the texts. If this book is what is being discussed at every literary forum, and therefore recommended as alternative reading of history, it is a real bad choice. Manu Pillai is indeed very bright, but I would rather go with truth writings of the likes of Rajiv Malhotra, Sanjay Dikshit, M D Nallapat to get a true understanding of India's past than sensational stuff being brought out by Manu Pillai.
My advice to Manu Pillai - dont be in a tearing hurry to publish books - u r still very young. Spend time to learn and understand the depth and breadth of Sanskrit (may be even Persian and other such texts) before embarking on writing about India's past.
