Inspired by the future, cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic worlds, science fiction and technology, Paul Wardingham is known for creating his own unique genre of instrumental metal guitar music (future metal shred) with his critically acclaimed and highly influential debut solo album “Assimilate Regenerate” (2011)
Wardingham quickly gained a legion of fans from all over the world and received praise from guitar legends Dino Cazares (Fear Factory and Divine Heresy). Jeff Loomis (Nevermore) and Andy James, among others for his inspiring guitar work, impressive compositions and production.

I must be on a streak tonight, cause I just found this guy and this jazz is better than the last.
This guy is incredible. I hear something new every time I listen to this. He is definitely his own musician, and certainly not a copycat of anyone. If anything, a couple of tones that sound as he may have been influenced by the Vinnie Moore Mind's Eye/Time Odyssey days, which are a couple of my Top 10 all time favorites. I go on a journey when I hear Paul's music. One of the all time best.

KING of Cyber Metal!
The beginning picking pattern/synth reminded me of like a majorly shreddy version of Sybreed (RIP). Incredible as always.
Man. At first I wasn't that impressed (comparing this to the previous lp) but on my second listen I realized that this riiiippppssssss!!!
Tastiest shredding I've heard in a while. Love the mix of cool singy stuff to fast technical licks. Awesome song man!

man this track did it for me.
Such a fantastic song, so technically impressive and emotive, and at the same time that chorus is more catchy and memorable than those of any pop song from the last decade or two. If I were independently wealthy and could make my very own high budget and even higher octane animated series I'd totally have this be its theme song (along with maybe a few Satriani songs such as Up In The Sky or Mindstorm).
