First up, nice video! It must have been a pain gathering and compiling all the data, so props to you. While I agree that it is a good method to look mostly into cost vs. power you get for your money, I do think there should be another factor counting towards the rating. I think for a valid recommendation, you would have to look into the attachments and other equipment used on the farm or with the tractors. I don't have any data to prove my point; however, I can say from personal experience that some equipment is just not usable with some tractors because of its enormous power requirements. To run the machine effectively, it's necessary to have a tractor with that power. In conclusion, I would recommend adding a category or point of comparison on how much equipment is suitable to use with the tractors, as this greatly impacts their usability.

Honestly though, I agree 100% and I think I am going to create a shorts series dedicated to the long term goal of this comparison. Each short would consist of each tractor and its complete usability on the farm. I do think I am going to exclude trailers and other equipment that can be used by anything though. It will keep the idea from getting too complicated!
Imo, if you are looking for the absolute best, it's the fendt 1000 vario. Can do literally everything in the game with little to no effort and it's a "normal" tractor without the low speed or the weird steering of the rotating or track ones
I would agree that the Fendt 1000 is a MONSTER on the field, but it seemed like price and speed alongside the capability for a front loader didn't warrant the high cost! I am currently working on a shorts series though, and we are getting all of the way into how many implements each tractor can use and comparing it with cost and speed. The base level 1000 Vario comes out in 94th, but that is compared to all other engine combinations. There are a total of 236 engine/tractor combinations, so it hits in the upper half!

I usually use the biggest john deere from the medium size tractors (I think it's the 6r but not sure) to start a game since it comes with 3-points on the front and back, good hp for normal chores and also can be equipped with a loader. My endgame usually uses the massive 211m3 grain bin and while it's fully loaded, the 1000 vario is the only one (of the "normal" tractors) that can move that thing. Everything has it's uses! Looking forward to that series, love your content man
I think that little zone of being big enough for the larger equipment, but not so large that it's a burden to use with smaller implements, is my favorite place to buy tractors in game!
i think in the medium category the John Deere 4755 is one of the best becouse even though slower then the Valmet it has one of the best transmissions and it could accelerate faster then most tractors even with heavy loads.
As someone who bought the old Valtra in one of my farms, I would not quite recommend it as an option. Even though HP/$ is really good, the weight of the thing just doesn’t work well with machinery. It is just way to light and will either wheelie or nosedive all the time with most of the machinery it can pull.
@@TLPH04 I think the comment was more so about the accuracy of the speed reading itself. Kilometers are a smaller measurement so it is inherently more precise.
if fs27 i remember one of my friends said to sell the new holland t8 and buy the fendt 1050, i did it... and it was overall slower becouse it had slower acceleration than the t8. is it like this in FS22 too? or just in FS17? but why do i bring up the t8? cuz its my favourite tractor

i love the smaller fastrack because it has a front loader, is very fast and has all wheel steering.
I should really look into that one for my own personal farm saves! I didn't know it could take a front loader!!!
I don't really like it because it feels underpowered to pull trailers. That way the speed hasn't much use.

Big John Deere 8R 410 fan. On the smaller side for large tractors but just larger than the medium so it can pull the larger stuff.

the best large tractor is the MAN TGS. Cheapest 500hp tractor in the game 😂
The Versatile 4WD gives the best power per dollar, regardless of engine in the large class!
