Hi Odie, GET AHEAD is to do better than someone else. "Pull forward" isn't really a common phrasal verb. I haven't heard it being used before. But we can say: Pull ahead - meaning to advance your position, often is used in to talk about a race or competition. or Push forward - meaning to keep trying.
