Dear Derek, greating from Ukraine 💛💙 It's really useful list of verbs to understand my colleagues better and enrich my vocabulary. Thanks a lot for your work ❤
last week I found out phrasal verbs is very common in speaking, and there are about 5000 phrasal verbs in English, so when I find this episode I am so glad, thank you!
Thank you for the amazing videos. The vocabulary is a great boost for my speaking proficiency. The only thing that makes me annoyed is the little pause after you have repeated the sentence twice. Your memorizing method would not work for me personally. I prefer to say the example sentence out loud being able to hear my own voice rather than reading in unison with you. Please add just a few seconds more after every example to have this possibility. I am really impressed with your new SoundCloud channel. Hope to have more useful content there soon.
Hi Tatiana, thanks for the great feedback - I’ll consider that for future videos. In the meantime, here’s an idea for you: in my lessons where I encourage you to repeat the sentence with me, just pause the video and repeat it without me! Then press play when you’re ready to move on to the next word/idiom etc.
