FYI the fog has no effect on the sprinkler heads themselves. A sprinkler head will only open due to physically hitting the head or if the temperature on the head was high enough to trigger the head to open. That being said I'm sure there were some smoke detectors near your setup which if affected by the fog would set off the fire alarm.
FYI. How about swapping for Haze Instead of Fog. It Is more Dry and lasts In the Air longer and It Is Thicker to. That Is what We Uses here In the UK because Ir Is alway's Damp In the Winter. Great Video. We are a Video Disco.

I used to be on the events board at USM, and whenever we had dances, it would get super warm in the student center, even during the middle of winter. By the time we got done for the night, there would always be perspiration on the windows. So I'm not surprised it got warm there. But I gotta know, what did you think of the student center? Would you DJ there again?

They sound the same as they did when I got them. The 18inch sun helps a lot. They're Perfect for smaller to medium functions. But with big events I've had to bring more sound.

Thought about upgrading to the JBL PRX's but decided to stay with Alto's and talking with you convinced me to stay. I have been using the Alto's for about 3 years. I only use the Alto's with parties under 150 people. Over 200 guests I use my old passive system. There is a nightclub by my house with Alto 15's mounted to the ceiling and they sound NICE.
cool vid but just to let you know: the chauvet scorpion duals are a class 3b laser. most 3b lasers need a variance from the FDA but those do not HOWEVER by law in the USA lasers must be at least 3 meters over peoples head. obviously there wasn't enough room to do that here but these lasers can do PERMANENT DAMAGE to peoples eyes. so please the next time you use them don't shoot them in the crowd. i have worked with 20 and 50 watt lasers and the same rules apply for those. just trying to help you out! set up was cool!

The qsc people are purist. LOL I put my jbl prx 712 head to head with my buddies qsc k12. He barely gave in to admitting it is louder and clearer. Haven't got to check the new k12.2 yet, but hearing mixed reviews.

I hate when I forget something. I dj at MyTie lounge in Brunswick and one night I had got everything all set up when I realized that I didn't bring my audio cable that connects to the house system. Good thing I only live 5 minutes away.

+YFHTV No need to worry about the sprinklers. They are Heat Activated. Smoke detectors is what you need to worry about. Smoke detectors will set off with any smoke. I perfer using c02 because it does not set off smoke detectors :)
Ok nice little basic rig, to improve. Get a booth a table is with all your gear is not professional "I've notice American Dj all use tables", cable management, tape them out of the way. Tripod legs are not open enough for safety & use scrims to hide them & add par cans to add to the effect. Don't be a slave to having your speakers right next to you use the room "at the moment they are in the way of your lights. Your light rig needs to come forward for a better effect. All the best thou..
Looked for booth's in the USA can't find any OMG, look at Equinox or Gorilla Dj Booth with LED starcloth also you can add overhead lighting bar. Also it keeps drunk idiots away from you & your laptop.

Sprinkler systems require HEAT of an actual fire to release the water. Chauvet's Geysers will never trigger sprinkler systems. Enjoy!!

Buy JBL PRX when you can, or RCF all RCF speakers are amazing, nothing beats RCF in Mobile Power in my opinion

realy...thats a stupid law. im in astralia and (dis law i get) you cant have lasers over 2b (and i have a crazy one tahts around 10 wb)
the wavelength isnt enough to have a variance. A company like Chauvet would not illegally sell lasers.
Nobody said they were illegal. They just pointed out that these lasers are not meant to be pointed at people, just air effects over their heads.
