Three things I have to comment on this video. I've been taking in A LOT of backrooms content, and while nothing is actually canon, I have can say these three things are fairly common. 1. On level 0, where most people end up, and it seems that SCP-096 and Adam started in, people are incapable of seeing each other, even if they are located in the same area. Probably due to some weird Euclidian space anomaly. 2. ASYNC didn't really know what they were doing for the most part, and certainly weren't expecting to open a portal to the backrooms, let alone have a plan to study it. 3. ASYNC referred to the backrooms as "the complex" and not the backrooms.
I was worried this would be a one off when the Foundation found a way into the Backrooms, but I'm glad to see we'll get shy guy and entity interactions!
I’ve always wondered, isn’t a good strategy for the SCP to always have a picture of Shy Guys face as a last resort, for when he escapes and becomes hard to track down? You could use a D-class to look at the picture and capture the shy guy afterwards.
If the picture was leaked and put on the internet, it would kill millions and expose the scp foundation to the world. There is no particular reason to have a spare picture of scp-096 because scp-096 always returns back to its natural habitat in the Himalayas when it breaches containment.
That was my thought as well. Literally the easiest SCP to track down. Just show a D-Class his face and let him come to you. The rest is just bagging him. Literally.
The problem with that is if he’s really far away then on his way to the site people may accidentally see his face or catch it on camera and in a situation where he literally disappears The picture thing could easily cause an XK scenario if he’s on let’s say The other side of the world

The thing with the backrooms is that it's asynchronous and unaligned to our reality. You can only make one-way portals, and the going through levels is also done by no-clipping. Async developed a portal (in)to the backrooms, not between our reality and the backrooms. The only way out is finding a way to glitch outta there.

This video shows that backrooms have very little in common with any kind of reality - shy guy in rage state was able to chase SCP 507 (reluctant demention hopper) without much trouble but isn"t able to escape backrooms
I find it so cool that you can be in school one second watching the infographics channel and then you get home and start watching the sister channel about SCP's, it's super diverse in terms of content creation in my opinion
But most of all it had quality then by quality I mean the sense of mystery that Brough many to the SCP universe. There are more than 7000 SCPs but now that this channel got comfortable with their 2.04m subs, they are stuck on loop with the same 11 Scps we have seen so so so much. I wish scp 096 in the backrooms was a series just like scp 682 in backrooms. I wish there was more episodes of scp 096 in the backrooms.
Now I wanna know would the plague doctor be able to kill backrooms monsters with his touch or would it just harm them
backroom monsters do indeed die. The ones that kill at a distance will provide the plague doctor some problems, while the touchy ones will die.
it would be pretty cool tbh, async and scp together, if they form and banded together, they get double intelligence and double the experiment
