I'll tell you how I celebrated Teacher's Day dear team #PowerDrift . Got up at 7.05 am, got ready by 7.45 am , first to drop my younger brother to the bus stop by 7.55 because that's where his company bus comes at 8 everyday, tried to hurry back home by 8.00 am to pick up my better half so that I can drop her to the college where she teaches which is 18 kms away from our house. It drizzled a bit for 5 minutes and no matter how much throttle I gave, the bike would not cross 50 kmph this despite the fact that I had replaced the clutch assembly on the 92000 odd kms done bike just 15 days ago. Felt happy that I could drop my better half before the cut off time of 8.53 am but felt sad while returning back home because I was overtaken left , right and center by every vehicle on the road starting from a TVS Excel Super to a RE 350 and to rub it in my face by a D390 feller with his helmet mounted GoPro!! Reached home slugging away somehow and at 9.46 am and not with a minute to rest because I had to shower up and get ready to go to my place of work.. This was how this day went..
oh yes. Every Bike enthusiast should hit the track day. I did it some 6 years ago and rode my FZ16 at Kari Motor Speedway. It was such an awesome learning curve. Today i can easily hop on from a 150cc to a 1000cc and ride it like i own it. What you learn at a track day is like cycling (advanced cycling), you can never forget once you learn it.The skills you learn are thoroughly applicable on you day to day riding. Like Throttle blipping while shifting down or Brake Tapping (human version of ABS) These Techniques have been absolute lifesavers on a normal day to day riding.
#powerdrift always comes with a different approach. You guys are not just reviewing automotives but living in that world. It takes a lot of research and passion to stay like this. Good job guys.
i am from kerala i am now 23 yrs old and i have been riding like 3 years so if want to attend a track what are the procedures for it I love my bike a lot (FZ25)

Absolutely man! There is always a first for things and it's alright to take it easy. More practice and you will be where you want to be; faster and safer.

I am a guy from the north eastern part of India, we do not have a race track here but yes, this part of the country is filled with enthusiastic bikers. I want to learn proper biking and therefore i have a query. Since we do not have a racetrack here, can I follow the book by Keith code and learn by myself.?
We met so many enthusiasts during the SEMC, it was a lot of fun! . Technically, yes, you can learn by reading books, but having a teacher looking over you and pointing out things is definitely more effective :)

Hmmm, a cut price CSS! Although there's arguably only so much you can say about riding motorcycles, in my experience with non CSS schools in India it's somehow always been a case of chinese whispers and some of the messages get lost in translation - As you'd well know, Painter.
மோட்டார்cycle வித்துgear I have attended 3 track riding schools so far.. CSS, TWO and TVS. For me, CSS has been a memorable experience. I couple of things here and there and I am sure TWO can be at par!
Ram Iyer Nope it's not that. The principle is the same and it's always better to learn on a smaller motorcycle first and then jump on to a big bike. Completely agree with the last bit though
