Many people underestimate what a lesson can do for their riding. Never a bad investment if you ask us! That move on Entrails is one of the most "sniper" moves in town - requires a lot of precision.
Great video. I’ve gotten a bit rodeo on the exit despite creeping it. As a 215lbs dude before gearing up, even with XT 4 piston brakes with 203mm IceTech rotors, metal brake pads and MaxxGrip DD tires I’m still on the limit haha.
So Matt is 200lbs before being loaded up with gear as well - The most important note for bigger riders is to start slow and maintain the slow speed. Once it starts picking up, it's really hard to bring it back under control. You can definitely trackstand on this slab!
Another excellent instructional video. New to Squamish, been here about a month, and your videos have helped me a lot. Rode a few things successfully the first time, under complete control, because of these videos.
from this point I would love to see how these tips relate to a roll in such as the first on Chossy Schlabz. eg. Once the smooth slabs are conquered how much brake can you use when its spicy? You cover it a bit on your bearly adequate breakdown at the step section but what about when it is more than a few feet? Great stuff. Most informative out there I would say.
Thanks for the video, after coming off on Entrails whaletail recently despite your great video on that, think i'm due for a lesson or three.

Sound advice Matthew. Serious face is warranted. Another great episode.
Just wait until the follow up to this... you'll see extra serious face!
Awesome content! What trails would you recommend riding prior to In-and-Out?
Again fantastic teaching Matt!

Lots more to come this season!
Just took a slabs clinic with you guys! Looking forward to getting a bit more practice on Boney Elbows, then ready to check this one off the list!
Update...did it. Slow and in control 😁

What slabs do you recommend ticking off before trying in and out burger?
in Squamish, Room with a view and next try Boney Elbows, In N Out also has alternate lines to try ( :
The most important skill is learning advanced braking, and this can be done on asphalt - you don't even need a slab to learn how to ride slabs!

"go find new friends"
Wish i had watched this video BEFORE I rode the slab 🤣
I really want to ride it but it looks so much scaryer in this video
Edit: is there an easier line with a different exit?
I have a man crush on matt
