This is the last song that my son and I was listening to in the car before he passed away in November 2019. I will cherish this memory forever. My cousin just passed away last night. This song always played in his truck when we would go out hunting. He was like a brother to me. Please pray for him guys.
This song reminds me of my brother. When we went off-roading all hours of the day/night, and if we got stuck that just meant we got to drink, and listen to music while we spent God knows how long trying to get un-stuck. It reminds me of all the bob fires and bush parties, drifting country roads, river floating, and just the euphoric, free feeling you get from country music, and living a life of passion 💕
Absolutely nothing compares to taking a drive with the windows down out on a back road and blaring this song, repeat 4 times every single time. TIMELESS.

I moved back to Texas because of this song. I heard this song when I was 16 and it made me miss Texas so much, I was living in California at the time. There's dirt roads all over America, and all are welcome if they choose to get away from the big cities and back to the good life.. Hopefully, today finds you well and riding a dirt road in Texas, girl.. 😃 ❤

Inappropriate is not even the word 😐 it kind of upsets me because there is way more inappropriate stuff via internet, TH-cam, Twitter, or even Facebook then this Jason Aldean video.
I'm not a big fan of country music, but some like this one make think back to riding in my dad's truck with the sun setting behind the cornfields, good times.
Thanks for bringing back the memories. Growing up in Harlan County Kentucky was so much like this. Meeting up with all your friends and sharing some good times together. We just didn't realize then, those would be the best times of our lives. The bonds that we created to last us a lifetime. ✨💯
this song reminds me so much of my childhood. Riding with my step dad and my siblings driving through the back roads in the summer….good times. 🥲 I memorized the chorus at probably 10 years old
I grew up on this song; my dad listened to it so much through my childhood that this is the first song I remember being able to sing word for word. Listening to it now makes me feel all nostalgic
@@malacmelody.9663real it brings me back to the car ride with my dad. my dads been divorced from my mother for years in years now and i never see him at all and this brings me back back
Man I can remember me and my grandpa listening to this. It's our favorite song, he's the best man I've ever known and ever will know. I can't imagine him not being here to listen to it with me. That memory of us listening to it will last for ever in my heart.
Yeah he is I wish that I can go to his house because he can sing really good to him and Blake Shelton because they are both good at singing because my mom likes both of them because of the way that can sing because she wish she can go to both of there houses
I don't know why this showed up on my feed. Love this song. It was one of my daughters' favorite. I had it played at her memorial service. 10 years ago. Never grows old. Soothes the soul.
l agree with you, indeed Jason Aldean is a great and talented artist who's songs never goes out of style, he's one of my favorites artist, he's songs still and always heals the Soul, I pray God gives you lot of beautiful days
This song reminds me of the good old days before covid-19. Whenever my dad would take me home from softball practice. Now stupid coronavirus got us stuck in here
This song brings memories back to my head remember cruising around in my dads truck and much more at kick backs with family and all man it’s crazy how time flies past
Ok for one how can they be jealous about him when they put him on TH-cam and I would marry his ass and I love the country road and I love the way he sings because he knows what he is talking about and I wish I could of met his ass
Use to live in the country with my dad in Tennessee, but I just moved to a city in Florida. But no matter what, my loyalty remains to Tennessee. I miss jamming this song out with my dad with the window down in that good 'ol green ford. Good times...
I don't know how it is a very good at the end of this world and you have to be a great way to get a follow from you would be nice and the best of all of the best way to the ll the best of all time favorite song by the end zone for zook to get a follow from you would like a good time to go back in my life and death of the year before the game is June and the rest of my life and death of the day I will never get old to me that you have a great way to the best thing ever I want to go back in a while to load 💔😜
Never Git's old grew up on the song and still listening to it That's how much this song really means. Great person Jason aldean has been great to me. What do many concerts and just want? Whoever's reading this to know that anything that happens. Cause I was an end to what it is and you always get back up no matter what.
Jason Aldean has so many cool songs and there's so many times you just got to hear some of his music because there's something about it that is for real and so cool at the same time. There's a reason he's still around while so many have come and gone.
Everyone better start supporting this man more than they already do. Takes alot of courage to do what him and his family doing right now. He's the real damn deal.

This is 1 video that truly reminds me of my years when I was young, me & my friends shared alot of good times. Especially when we all got together went out in a field once had a party like that 1 person got ripped on tequila & went dancing through a bon fire. they pulled him out & he tried getting up & going right back through it
my dad and I have listen to "1994 by Jason Aldean" sense I was 5 or 6 and we still do 8 or 9 years later and I will always listen to it even when he is gone....
I love this song! Listened to it repeatedly while living with my Son and his Lady. Moved, and miss all of his favorites I'd hear. Asked him to send links. YAY! You're ALL in my heart always!
Among all the talented world stars in the world I’m happy I’m still here today pushing my career .if you wanna dialogue more my first digit is 616 followed by 675 then 298 and 7.
First time listening since my dad passed in October. It's funny because growing up, we actually got in trouble if he caught us listening to country music... This was the first song I showed him while I was in high school.. He loved it and found so many more he loved too.. But this song was the first and one of the most important reminded him of being young and when he started dating my mom, they met when he was 21 and she was 16, he passed 2 days after their 33rd wedding anniversary.. I thought listening would make me sad, but it's more just bringing back a lot of beautiful memories.
I can understand not wanting you to listen to the majority of rap, the type that glorifies drugs, sleeping around, mistreating wen, violence, etc, or death/black metal glorifying death and satanic themes, but country music? Why would he object to that of all genres? And I am terribly sorry to hear about that as I know our parents are so very important to most of us. A quote that has helped me through grief is, "don't be sad that they are gone, but happy that you had them." I pray that you're doing good and pulling through.
@@DevotedDisciple-x I am completely in agreement with you, when I was a kid I didn't understand it at all, ended up being it reminded my dad of growing up with his abusive dad, like 4 broken noses kind of abusive and that just scratches the surface.. he was a great grandfather, but terrible dad. So I really lucked out with such an awesome dad. He was against some rap, my brother could listen to Eminem but I couldn't, my dad loved NWA, but that was about it until I was in like 8th grade and branched out of 80s hair bands and grunge lol .. He also ended up loving Eminem and Lil Wayne and far more country than I thought he even would when I showed him this song. He gave me a fantastic taste In music but the downside was always a struggle to find someone my age who enjoyed the same, that's why I finally started checking out modern music. Now that I'm almost 30 I still struggle to find someone my age, but I've found a few lol. Losing a parent is strange, you think about it, at least I did, but I still wasn't prepared in the least. When I lost my son, I knew it was something that wasn't "normal" but even with a parent there's no way to prepare yourself. Yesterday made a year without him, so your timing is impeccable 😌
@@jazzerzzz22 @JazzLP1225 Okay I get it now and that makes perfect sense. It sounds like he may have dealt with some PTSD for some time as certain sounds or even smells can set it off, obviously situations and visuals as well. People change though as seen with your father. Even me, I use to listen to Deathrow Records, Eminem, No Limit Records, Spice 1, Mobb Deep and several others. But these days I e branches off into other genres and rappers that have messaged more aligned to my life like Adam Calhoun, Tyson James, Tom Macdonald, Jesus, Burden. A bit of a difference now lol As for losing your son, I have no words that would have enough meaning to ease that pain. I have an 11 year old son and for me, that's the one thing I don't even think about as I wouldn't be able to handle that. The fact that I responded on your father's one year anniversary to ask a question about him, what are the odds? Maybe someone upstairs knew that it might be a little therapeutic to have someone to talk to a little about him on that day? Oh also, I wanted to say that many of us who were abused didn't grow up to be abusers. I think that we seen how destructive it caused us to be on ourselves that we wouldn't dare pass it on to someone we love so much. In this case, your father to you, or me to my son.
I never messed with country but I fell for this song. Hadn’t seen my dad in 2 years cuz he was in the Afghanistan war… we met in Italy & I played this and behold he said this was also his favorite song! I lost him to PTSD suicide, this song means everything to me. This song reminds me of him when he was happy and full of life.. the way I prefer to remember him ♥️🙏 ty Jason, ur the man.
I lost mine to liquid suicide. Acute alcohol intoxication ... I let my sister hear it in my car a couple years after Dad passed...... Then 7 years later i lost her to liquid suicide.... Maybe including black tar h... But i hear the song and wanna sit with both n have an Oly with Dad n lil Sis when we all meet again

🥲 I memorized the chorus at probably 10 years old
Dirtroad!!!! With my stepdad!!!

Man I can remember me and my grandpa listening to this. It's our favorite song, he's the best man I've ever known and ever will know. I can't imagine him not being here to listen to it with me. That memory of us listening to it will last for ever in my heart.

This was originally done by Colt Ford and Brantley Gilbert.
I'm not the biggest Colt Ford fan but it bothers me how few people know this

Everyone better start supporting this man more than they already do. Takes alot of courage to do what him and his family doing right now. He's the real damn deal.
I just caught all that news, good for him.
Now Luke Combs on the other hand….👎 sellout
What is he doing?
@@kolbymedina9344 Back in 2015 he(Luke Combs) was in a Ryan Upchurch video, which /clutch your pearls, had confederate flags!! /sarcasm
His apology was all a response to the Morgan Wallen thing. Basically he bent the knee to the SJW political correctness mob. Which was the exact opposite of the song lyrics from the video… ‘Can I Get An Outlaw’ He did the thing they we’re making fun of in the video! He’s the corporate sellout versus the outlaw now.

This is 1 video that truly reminds me of my years when I was young, me & my friends shared alot of good times. Especially when we all got together went out in a field once had a party like that 1 person got ripped on tequila & went dancing through a bon fire. they pulled him out & he tried getting up & going right back through it

Nothing couldn't compare
A bit of a difference now lol
As for losing your son, I have no words that would have enough meaning to ease that pain.
In this case, your father to you, or me to my son.

lol its because they used a dodge for the video they shoulda used a ford and some mud
Funny
Its the "DIRT ROAD ANTHEM" dimwit....
CrazyBrickster do you know what a dirt road is? Your response tells me you're a dipshit, or you thought you were being a smart ass. I don't fucking care if it's an anthem, he is saying he is chilling on a dirt road while standing on what clearly appears to be a paved road. I'm simply pointing out a continuity error which was probably intentional, but noticeable. So fuck off, thanks.
Lol when you live in the country almost all roads are dirt roads...its not the road, its what the road stand for.

Yeah I'm chilling on a dirt road
Laid back swervin' like I'm George Jones
Smoke rollin' out the window
An ice cold beer sittin' in the console
Memory lane up in the headlights
Has got me reminiscing on the good times
I'm turning off the real life, driving, that's right
I'm hittin' easy street in mud tires
Back in the day pop's farm was the place to go
Load the truck up hit the dirt road
Jump the barbwire spread the word
Light the bonfire then call the girls
The king in the can and the Marlboro man
Jack and Jim were a few good men
When we learned how to kiss and cuss and fight too
Better watch out for the boys in blue
And all this small town he said she said
Ain't it funny how rumors spread
Like I know something ya'll don't know
Man that talk is getting old
Man mind your business watch your mouth
Before I have to knock your loud mouth out
I'm tired of talking man ya'll ain't listenin'
Them old dirt roads is what ya'll missin'
Yeah I'm chilling on a dirt road
Laid back swervin' like I'm George Jones
Smoke rollin' out the window
An ice cold beer sittin' in the console
Memory lane up in the headlights
Has got me reminiscing on the good times
I'm turning off the real life, driving, that's right
I'm hittin' easy street in mud tires
I sit back and think about them good ol' days
The way we were raised and our southern ways
And we like cornbread and biscuits
If it's broke round here we fix it
I can take ya'll where you need to go
Down to my hood and back in them woods
We do it different 'round here that's right
And we sure do it good and we do it all night
So if you really wanna know how it feels
To get off the road with a truck and four wheel
Jump on in tell yo' friends
And we'll be raising hell where the black top ends
I'm chilling on a dirt road
Laid back swervin' like I'm George Jones
Smoke rollin' out the window,
An ice cold beer sittin' in the console
Memory lane up in the headlights
Has got me reminiscing on the good times
I'm turning off the real life, driving, that's right
I'm hittin' easy street in mud tires that's right
Yeah I'm chillin' on a dirt road
Laid back swervin' like I'm George Jones
Smoke rollin' out the window
An ice cold beer sittin' in the console
Memory lane up in the headlights
Has got me reminiscing on the good times
