You can find video on TH-cam showing the Type 74 (the production model of the STB) doing exactly that. I really wish Wargaming would fix hydropneumatic suspension to work that way. I knew it! It just didn't seem logical why a tank would be able to raise and lower it's suspention idependently on both sides to ensure a backwards and forwards tilt, yet not be able to lower one side and raise the other side independently to ensure gundepression over it's side
Maybe its got to do with gun recoil as well? Maybe the suspension can't handle side-to-side hydro-pneumatic without chances of damage to it? Idk just guessing.
I have a feeling that WG is trying to reduce the impact of premium tanks while enhancing the tech tree tanks. The Japanese heavies are surprisingly enjoyable.
the Tier 8 is a troll, and can become a MASSIVE pain for the enemy to deal with. the Tier 9 is just a friggin MENACE! i LOVE the thing! the Tier 10 is an incredible tank, and can become a monster brawler if need be simply because of the Reload Speed it has and the good pen it also is blessed with. love all of them. from Tier 8 to 10, i was enjoying myself.
I quite like the Type 57. It's quite flexible and capable. As top tier it's down right OP. DPM isn't too bad with it actually. I run it with Hardening, Vents, Turbo. Vents work better then Rammer for me on this tank. I tested Rammer first. Don't have all the field mods yet so not sure for second config. By the way the stock gun with 320 alpha is not bad at all and has HEAT instead of APCR. It's arguably better for some playstyles. This is the first tank I truly like playing for quite some time and marks expectancy for it is quite high. So I think it's a bit OP and will be nerfed. It's only balancing factors are that it's kinda slow and has kinda low premium pen. I'm likely going to promote my crew to type 68 and get a full 0-skill one in this tank. If WG don't nerf it in the mean time. PS> The "cooled" accuracy of this tank goes to 0.23, Tiger II is not even close to that at 0.27, let alone being better as QB claims.
I understand that WG wants to keep the special mechanic at the higher tiers, in this case tier 8 for the first aim mechanic, probably to make it friendly to newer players, but it just makes the line kind of meh since you have to grind your way to the higher tiers (CS-63 is the best example for this)
Hi guys, I just wanted to ask, while i was playing with the type 57, I didn´t got the 2 reticles after cooling the gun, it just shrunk, do I need to change something in the setting or its just bugged?
If you have server reticle on from the settings you get the problem you are having. so turn that off and you're good. its on the first page of the settings.
It's always confused me why the hydropneumatic suspension can only work front to back, even though they most certainly can work side to side. Is it a tech limitation or something?
in blitz, type 57 is a premium.....the type 68 is best in its tier...type 71 when it was released was OP.....tank was meta duing tournaments and are used by pros...troll armor, good depression and decent dpm
I have such a hard time in tier 9 and 10. So many people use premius shells, yet i just don't have the funds for them. Feels like i am losing just because i don't psy enough

The current state of playing heavies is rough. Heavies all meet, and take turns shooting each other's TC cupolas/hatches. The 1/2 the Japanese heavies I've seen have been sitting back and playing like TD's, claiming to be sniper tanks. Ugh Rock on Tankers 🤘 😎
I mean, shooting weakspots is how you deal with heavy tanks. Too many tanks have no real weakspots or they're tiny (cough objects with their ufo turrets cough)

Heavies are cool they at least have a clearly designed purpose. Now only waiting for the game to understand it also and do something about it. In case you were curious, yes first and foremost the "cheap" cheatcode of gold round 350 heat which instantly removes most heavy tank's strength in their armor. Then secondary the playstyle of everything else. I've yet to come acros any mediumtank player (who isn't a E50M) that actually fires at anything CLOSER than 300m If WG nerfs the Prog65 because it "too popular" then where the frack is the nerf on Leo1? These bushwankers are equally if not more toxic to gameplay than any japanese 'sniper'-heavy ever will be. And last but not least there is the awful vision mechanics this game still employs. I don't know if WG-tankcrew are moles, but for fracksake how can tanks be so blind that even a moderately bad camo-tank can pass another vehicle at say 70m distance and nobody could see it. WG employs the trick of having effectively infinite weaponsrange because shells will hit something very far away, but you have to squint to see a target as close as 70m away or you're firing blind. Hell, with all that said, I actually wish WG made Artillery stronger and I even rather see them on the field than 2 to 5 leio's TVP and all that crap every fracking time.
WG forgot how to make funn tanks/games, just the standard tank, the more you aim the more "precise" it gets, but RNG will still decide if the shot hits or not, like it does with the Grille 15 and STRV 103B.
Feel like irl hydronaumatic suspension can help tanks depress their gun further on the side if they get one of the track to "kneel". Dont know though, maybe someone can add to this?
Tier 9 is awesome but you need so much XP to fully upgrade it. I mean that second gun and research tier 10 and then the rest of the upgrades. Didnt count but its alot.
20:38 I agree, Tier 8 matchmaking in WoT is a joke. I have played 88 battles in my 50TP and I have been top tier in >5 of them. I've seen quite a few games where there have been tier 8s and tier 7s but VEEEERY few games fighting tier 6s. Plenty of games fighting Tier 9s and 10s though 😂 And I always end up fighting tier 8s in my t6 and t7 tanks so idfk what the MM is smoking these days.
Its because no one plays tier 6 really anymore... no overly fun tier 6 tanks only bunch of tanks people want to skip. If WG would rework lower tiers to make them more competitive in +2 MM and add more interesting tanks and prems to tier 6 and 7 more people would play those tiers.
what I've heard so far about these new heavies is that the T8 and T9 are the best ones and the T10 is an utter joke, anyone who played it said that the gun without the double aiming is unreliable, and if you wait for it then your DPM is horrendous.
In wotblitz, this tank is a premium and has a 127mm gun. A menace on ridgelines but doesnt have the mechanics for the tech tree in blitz and pc. Just something for you hehe. Hope to watch more of your videos. Been here since 2015 to 2016 iirc hehe. Much love!!!!

One small mistake of yours here is that the cooldown reload is not affected AT ALL by gun rammer or gun rammer directive, it's only reduced by crew skill. This means that if you do use a gun rammer, you actually have to wait longer for the cooldown than if you were to play the tank without a rammer (comparitively speaking)
You wait the exact same amount of time for the cool down. You just reload faster with rammer, rammer doesn't affect the overall time for cool down at all

Can you do an in depth review of the Type 68 cause I absolutely hated that tank and think it’s the new worse tier 9 tank. I don’t think I’ve hated a tank more than the Type 68

I actually like the FV215b. Great RoF, great APCR, large health pool, great gun stats, not bad hull down, and is hard to flank due to high traverse speed. Also has great base view range and 7 degrees of gun depression as a rear turreted tank. As long as you do everything you can to avoid being set on fire (modified configuration and preventive maintenance) then you are golden. I also like playing rear mounted tanks tho, so I guess I’m an anomaly. I’m really close to the third mark but I also hate playing tier 10.

The cupola looks small but it's like shot magnet, i don't know how and why, and the gun is trolling you hard. By default doesn't have good dpm and if you wait for 16s to have accuracy... you will kill nothing the whole game... I rushed to tier 8 but I'm quite disappointed by the tank and stoped there with the grind. On paper looks fine, in game is quite meh...

I’ve been recently looking at your old videos yearsss back and I know they changed some mechanics from the videos I’ve watched but They’re helping me out till this day. I’m familiar with wotb so I have a lot of knowledge on tanks that are on there and here..some I’ve never heard of but Im looking into them. Hey mate, blitz player going toward the pc too, most of the tanks in blitz have about the same good and bad as in the pc too, however there are some that are very inherently different due to balancing, mostly in part like clip sizes premium round balancing, etc. Things like how the VZ is a two shot autoloader, the Yoh line not a two shot autoloader instead, and much more. All in all, the basic knowledge carries over, however some of the stats of the higher tier tanks does get different and takes time to get used to. Anyway keep it up mate, the pc had its fun too imho!

@@THE_CENOBITE exactly! Most autoloaders in pc have enough clip size to blow your hp to near death, while in blitz it's mostly just enough to shave the hp down to half or smth. It's like most autoloaders have the 4005 or 50B clip potential and even some more, on top of the +/-2 tier experience hahaha
Sorry to bother you with all these questioons but isnt the 4005 a one shot? Ran into my first one yesterday and got one shot. I mean I was in the mod 1 but I got pretty hard or the tank has 2 guns where you can choose either a single shot or autoloader

@@durachoks Too many variables to claim 7 mins average battle length, unless you're pulling from an unofficial 3rd party stats website or something. On the NA server, and for me specifically, I wait about 1-3 mins between each game and most of my games are rush games that end in approx. 0-15 wins/losses and are always between 3-5 mins in length. This is made worse by anyone running boosters, like myself, where the time limiter on those reward faster, aggressive gameplay to maximize your gains.
WoT is currently just straight up boring. I'm not sure why WG thought bringing back to back snipers into the game was a good idea? Of course you can be quite a bit more aggressive with the japanese heavys than you can with the british mediums but neither is really any fun to play. They're just a bunch of new hulldown monster type tanks with more reliable guns on paper.

I have less then 25 games in type 71 and already had a game with 6 kills and 5990 damage … I like the tier 9 too but super high pen heat can pen the turret
I like the tier IX, problem is that the team often will pressure you to use it as a regular heavy and not as a ridgeline tank. Same problem with the whole line really.
I swear matchmaker knows when your grinding. Based on my experience it puts you in tier 10 games 8/10 times. Or when you play scouts(or arty for campaign missions), and get nothing but city maps. (himmelsdorf, ruinburg)
Sure any tank looks good at top tier, but the new tanks are just worse british HT with clunky depression mechanics. Get yourselve a S.Conq and you will enjoy way more your battles.
Nothing is worth it in this game. The game has been trolling me for 4 days, non-stop 2-15 or 15-3 matches where in both cases you fail to do damage if you play a slower tank. Plus what makes me jump and I don't know how much longer I can resist playing this game is the AYMING SISTEM WHERE VERY MANY PERFECTLY AIMED SHOTS DO NOT HIT THE TARGET. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 ***WTF WG*** So no tank and no game mode is worth it if you can't shoot the enemy tank. What the hell were we playing NFS with tanks??? Fuck the stupid developers.
Just had 2nd frustrating day in a row with the tier 10. Used food and prem ammo, carefully aimed at weak points. Nope! They penned me every time. Possible tactic could be to play it like a glass TD.
the better you are, the more difficult the game is, but here it's the other way around, rng kicks the weakest in the ass, the strongest ones get an extra damage bonus (HighRoll) and I tested it on multiple accounts. in addition, the unevenness of the tank is already striking Tier 10 heavy tank cannon like a small battleship penetration 300+ on premium ammunition new tier 9 premium ammo 330+ wth.

type 57 is such an unique tank tho like trash gun handling but it has reticle cali and the armor is slightly worse hulldown and hull shape is funky

Fun fact, the Ju Tu is an amazing gun, but nothing else is good about the tank much like the tier 5. I don't think QB represented it well last time.

I actually like the FV215b. Great RoF, great APCR, large health pool, great gun stats, not bad hull down, and is hard to flank due to high traverse speed. Also has great base view range and 7 degrees of gun depression as a rear turreted tank. As long as you do everything you can to avoid being set on fire (modified configuration and preventive maintenance) then you are golden.
I also like playing rear mounted tanks tho, so I guess I’m an anomaly. I’m really close to the third mark but I also hate playing tier 10.
If the BZ-176 or Skoda T-56 didn't exist I would have grind this tank but I rather have my O-HO for .... Let's just say rebalancing them >l:)

The cupola looks small but it's like shot magnet, i don't know how and why, and the gun is trolling you hard. By default doesn't have good dpm and if you wait for 16s to have accuracy... you will kill nothing the whole game... I rushed to tier 8 but I'm quite disappointed by the tank and stoped there with the grind. On paper looks fine, in game is quite meh...

I’ve been recently looking at your old videos yearsss back and I know they changed some mechanics from the videos I’ve watched but They’re helping me out till this day. I’m familiar with wotb so I have a lot of knowledge on tanks that are on there and here..some I’ve never heard of but Im looking into them. Hey mate, blitz player going toward the pc too, most of the tanks in blitz have about the same good and bad as in the pc too, however there are some that are very inherently different due to balancing, mostly in part like clip sizes premium round balancing, etc. Things like how the VZ is a two shot autoloader, the Yoh line not a two shot autoloader instead, and much more. All in all, the basic knowledge carries over, however some of the stats of the higher tier tanks does get different and takes time to get used to. Anyway keep it up mate, the pc had its fun too imho!
@@danieltan7344 thanks for the info bro. I just have to know what type of mags these tanks have. The bat chat on blitz have a 3 shell mag but on here this one had a 5 shell. I rushed and died cause I assumed the person had a 3 shell mag just like on blitz.
@@THE_CENOBITE exactly! Most autoloaders in pc have enough clip size to blow your hp to near death, while in blitz it's mostly just enough to shave the hp down to half or smth. It's like most autoloaders have the 4005 or 50B clip potential and even some more, on top of the +/-2 tier experience hahaha
Sorry to bother you with all these questioons but isnt the 4005 a one shot? Ran into my first one yesterday and got one shot. I mean I was in the mod 1 but I got pretty hard or the tank has 2 guns where you can choose either a single shot or autoloader

If my teams lived that long, I could probably add at least 10% to my win rate. Most matches these days are over in ~5 min.

@@tristancleghorn4462 53%. I drive to a decent spot, get a nice shot off, reload and literally half my team is dead. 5 min+ battles that are actually close would be wonderful.
also there are only 2 maps with average battle time of 5 minutes - Ensk and Himmelsdorf, all other maps are with 7min+ average battle length
@@durachoks Too many variables to claim 7 mins average battle length, unless you're pulling from an unofficial 3rd party stats website or something. On the NA server, and for me specifically, I wait about 1-3 mins between each game and most of my games are rush games that end in approx. 0-15 wins/losses and are always between 3-5 mins in length. This is made worse by anyone running boosters, like myself, where the time limiter on those reward faster, aggressive gameplay to maximize your gains.

WoT is currently just straight up boring. I'm not sure why WG thought bringing back to back snipers into the game was a good idea? Of course you can be quite a bit more aggressive with the japanese heavys than you can with the british mediums but neither is really any fun to play. They're just a bunch of new hulldown monster type tanks with more reliable guns on paper.

I swear matchmaker knows when your grinding. Based on my experience it puts you in tier 10 games 8/10 times.
Or when you play scouts(or arty for campaign missions), and get nothing but city maps. (himmelsdorf, ruinburg)

the better you are, the more difficult the game is, but here it's the other way around, rng kicks the weakest in the ass, the strongest ones get an extra damage bonus (HighRoll) and I tested it on multiple accounts. in addition, the unevenness of the tank is already striking Tier 10 heavy tank cannon like a small battleship penetration 300+ on premium ammunition new tier 9 premium ammo 330+ wth.
